Very pleased If you don't expect too much (next-gen graphics, Mario Golf characterizations/minigames), this is a very well-made straightforward golf game. Reviews on the net have been mostly lukewarm, choosing to focus on what the game is NOT as opposed to what it is. Don't be fooled by writeups like that. Why should a game be judged based on a promise it never made?
It succeeds as a fun golf "simulator", with a nice competitive mode, as well as normal solo stroke play on a very generous FIFTEEN courses. I enjoy my copy very much, and it's great for relaxing play in short bursts.
