Good This DS "game" is really good for learning, because it has several different modes that allow you to practice different aspects. Of course the main concentration is kanjii but they have different ways of testing your knowlege of the kanjii therefore you end up memorizing them easier. However i think people with no prior practice with japanese will not find using this that easy. As long as you know your alphabets (hiragana, kanjii) and a lot of words you should be fine.
