Nintendo's popular Japanese platform series returns on Nintendo DS™ with a brand new adventure. Sticking to the 2D roots of the series, the game is a classical platform title. The action is shown on the top screen, while a map is displayed on the bottom screen.
Just like in the previous Gameboy Advance™ predecessor Legend of Stafi 3, Stafi's younger sister Stapi is available as playable character again. Stafi and his sister are chasing a criminal that has robbed a hidden treasure from the Ami Kingdom. Although this action game is fundamentally operated with the digital pad and action buttons, touch pen elements have been included when gathering information during the search for the criminal.
A total of 100 different items as well as 130 "characters" make Legend of Stafi 4 the biggest platform adventure so far in the series.
Good, but I preferred Stafy 3 This is the second Stafy game I have purchased. Once again, the only Japanese you need to know is 'yes' and 'no' to successfully save and use warp zones.
The more detailed sprites are very cute and the 3-D backgrounds are impressive, but the gameplay isn't always as engaging as in Stafy 3. Still, it's not a bad game by any means and the new 3-D dress up mode is a nice extra.

worthless and not worth buying believe me its no good not that many graphics no new skills no story buy 2 or 3 you save alot of money its the levels made again and again

Played a bit... I bought it for $20 with postage. For my money, It was good as a collectors item as stafi is an AT in Brawl. But have played through a couple hours of this game, it is creative, repitiive at some times and also can be a chore to play.
Also Language barrier is not a problem for this game and for the price of $20, I would have given it 5 stars but considering this is usually on sale for $50.... 3 stars.

Cute and Fun I first orderd the plush not knowing who this charater was cause it was cute. Then I saw that he had his own game so i had to get this. The game is really fun and addicting. Its as if i am playing kirby. Its funny cause I have no clue what there saying but I still find it very enjoying. Its really not a big deal cause the game pratically navigates you on what to do. A must have for any nintendo fan.

best platformer ever!!!!!!!! this game is amazingly fun!!! it has levels under and above water. and you can give stafi costumes. If you like Kirby or Mario you'll love this!!!!!!

Language barrier not a problem I was worried if this would be a problem but it's really not! :D I can't explain this really, just if you're thinking about buying it, just do it, you won't regret it at all :D! If you like Mario you'll enjoy this alot. It's about little fish creatures needing items ( clearly shown from pictures so don't worry ) and you retrieving them for them, I think theres probably some big bad guy but I don't have a clue lol. I'm not that far into the game but I'm really enjoying it, and I know you will too ;)!

WOW I love fun games and this title is on my list. The game is easy to understand and is simular to maria bros. lots of fun for lots of hours. It is on the cute side, just the way I like it. I am glad I gave it a try.

Excellent Platformer The game is amazing! if you enjoy platformers order it now! its like Kirby but with a better story. its very cute and charming dont miss out on this game.

Superb Platformer with Extra Fun! Just like all the other magnificent games in this series, this game blows away all expectations and makes fun the first priority. It's simple yet challenging, engaging and yet not so overstimulating as to be confusing. 3D backgrounds are stunning on the DS, and the sprites are all charming and visually so amazingly beautiful. This is one of the most gorgeous games I've seen yet on the DS, and its charming cast of characters and fun story make it easy to love.
It's excellent for gamers of all ages, and you'll find yourself laughing and smiling at all the funny situations, wonderful costumes, and exciting gameplay offered to you. As solid platformers go, Starfi 4 excels in this category, mixing traditional platforming goodness with all kinds of interesting extras that infuse new life into the genre.
There is some Japanese comprehension that will help your enjoyment of the title, but there are FAQs and walkthroughs if you don't speak it very well. Either way I would not let this title slip through my hands. Starfi 4 is one of the best games yet, especially for the DS. This is one to take with you wherever you go!
