From the makers of Nintendo's English training software Eigo ga Nigate na Otona no DS Training: Eigo Zuke, comes a virtual guitar application for the Nintendo DS™. Plato's Hiite Utaeru DS Guitar M-06 allows you to control a guitar, with 120 built-in chords, three plucking variations of each.
The chords are navigated with the d-pad, while you use the stylus to strum via the touch screen. You can chose from 20 songs to strum along with or just play freely on your own. 18 song are available in printed form, bundled with the software.
Great Guitar Simulator If you play guitar, or would like to play guitar, Hiite Utaeru DS Guitar M-06 is a great piece of software to carry around with you. While it only allows you to play chords (as opposed to picking individual strings), the potential musical creation with this title is fantastic. Already, having only had it a day, I've been able to play acoustic versions of several Muse, Radiohead and Doves songs, all of which sound truly authentic. You can even hook your DS up to an amp or speakers for a more impressive sound, and if the amp has a 'gain' function you can turn the game into an electric guitar simulator.
Its a great piece of kit to own for your DS, and kudos has to go to the designers of the box art both front and back, surreal, quite unrelated yet utterly cool.

Pretty damn awesome I wish that more of these non-vg, lifestyle programs would come out for the DS. While understandably not a real guitar, this emulator comes pretty damn close, and really allows for so much versatility in chords, changing keys and is overall a really fun way to expand the uses of your DS.
