Disgaea
This game is very addictive when you are playing, but you can walk away and then pick it up and become immersed again. I like it because if you get stuck in the main quest part, you can go and upgrade your equipment and essentially upskill your characters in the Item world. This is a very attractive feature!

Good.
First. I highly recommend the PS2 and/or the PSP (especially this one) instead of this other DS Disgaea.

However... the same old cool-game, but all compressed and technically limited.

Disgaea... 150 hours of fun!
Disgaea, quite possibly the best tactical RPG of our time now remade for the DS.

The Graphics in this DS port are nice, the textures are toned down a bit for the ds but the character sprites are the same resolution. Skill effects are still as amazing and brilliant as always.

The sound in this game lets it down a bit, voice acting for all but a few cut scenes have been removed because of restrictions on cartridge size and the music is not to-par with the other remake or original.

The thing that makes this game stand out from the original are the new bosses and multiplayer, seriously, if you are a fan of the original and have a friend who's been playing for a while - get it together, multiplayer is the best addition to this game yet.

If your a fan of tactical RPG's and have been playing weak-graphic-and-story TRPG's for your DS like luminous ark, this game will open your eyes at what you should expect.

Buy this game - you won't regret it.
