Great game but more suited for younger gamers
Positives:
Very effective controls and moves make the battles enjoyable and easy to navigate, with little frustration in terms of not being able to pull off the more advanced techniques later on.

The level design and integration of areas based on unlocking new skills and techniques works perfectly, with plenty of secret areas and items to be uncovered as you progress through the game.

The graphics and soundtrack are just as good as the previous games in the series and give a very vibrant and upbeat feel to the game.

The storyline is varied enough to keep you curious as to how things will finally work out with plenty of comedic moments throughout.

Negatives:
The overall difficulty isn't too high and once you work out how to counter your enemies' attacks in each area you'll probably take little or no damage as you navigate it.

The seemingly endless tutorials and explanations as you progress through the game may frustrate some gamers who would already know most of those details from having played earlier games in the series.

General:
The game as a whole probably can take up to 40 hours to fully complete it (i.e. find every secret item, reach over level 40 and complete all the challenges), but experienced gamers could probably make their way through it in half that time if they wanted to take out the exploratory parts of the game.

Fantastic
Whilst on the surface it might seem like just another Mario and Luigi game the addition of Bowser as a playable character adds a refreshing change of pace. Couple this with a charming cast of characters and a brilliant localisation and you have the makings for a fantastic RPG.

Yet another classic Mario RPG
I was a bit hesitant of this because the premise of the game sounded weird but it is yet another excellent Mario & Luigi game. I'd definitely say it tops "Partners in time".

So funny!
Aha this game! There is so much fun in this amazing game! No doubt, it's one on the best vibe of the year on Nintendo DS! One of my favourite!

Brilliant
Similar to the previous games in the series, Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story gives a lighthearted take on the Mario universe, with some brilliantly thought-out characters that truly have some charisma.

Backing this up is a solid RPG experience, where battles take on a semi-turn based structure. The characters can dodge enemy attacks in real time, and more powerful hits are accomplished by timing button presses at the correct times.

Being able to play as Bowser really brings a new element to the franchise, and revitalises it.

Overall, this is a brilliant game, and possibly the best in the M&L series so far. Definitely a must-buy.
