詳細描述
Heart Gold is the sequel to the Pokemon Fire Red/ Leaf green released in 2004 on Game Boy Advance. 3 years after the initial defeat of the Rocket Organization, a new hero is setting off on a new journey in the Jouto area. Receiving a pokemon from the researcher Dr. Utsugi, off you go on your adventures and meet all the pokemon and challenges.
The Rocket Organization who has been using pokemon as tools back in the Kanto area are back. What are they aiming for this time? Can you become the hero to save the day? Train your pokemon in the gyms, enter the pokemon league and duel with the gym leaders to earn badges. Aiming at the top place in the pokemon trainer world, off you go!
Train your pokemon as you walk. Take the pokemon walker with you wherever you go. The more steps you take, the more experience your pokemon become. Use the infrared device to put your strengthened pokemon into the game world in your DS.
More legendary pokemon are showing up. Tame Ho-oh, the fiery phoenix in Heart Gold.
Wonderful remake! I like how Heart Gold stays faithful with the original Gold/Silver, the new additions are an excellent touch. It takes a lot of trial and error to figure things out if you don't know Japanese, but I think it's not a huge issue as most aspects are fairly simple. Excellent game, can't wait for the English version. :)

Masterpiece Pokemon HeartGold is an absolute masterpiece, and easily the best Pokemon game to date. I was extremely hesitant to even think to call a remake better than the original, but HeartGold and SoulSilver truly are. They stay pretty much exactly true to the original (only a few very minor changes) story, while also including all the new additions (and more) to the Pokemon franchise that have appeared in Diamond and Pearl. The Pokewalker is lots of fun, and an excellent idea. It's also really nice to see your Pokemon following behind you like Pikachu did in Yellow Version. I know absolutely no Japanese, and was still able to understand and play through the game with relative ease. An absolutely amazing game, if you think you'll be able to play through it, definitely buy it, because April is a long time away, and quite the wait for these games.

Fantastic Game! This game was very fun and for a person, like me, that has never played the originals it was an exciting new experience. Definitely will buy the English version when it comes out though!

Pokemon Heart Gold The game came in perfect condition and is legit. The game is a lot of fun and it's got great replayability. Would buy from again!!

Wonderful game I received my game 3 weeks from ordering with the cheapest shipping, which is exactly how long it's estimated to take.
There are so many great features in this remake, not having played the original Gold and Silver games, this is new for me. I love how the Pokémon can follow your character. Features from Diamond/Pearl/Platinum have been incorporated into the game as well, blending generations well and incorporating the touch screen. The Pokéwalker is a nice feature, allowing you to still gain Pokémon and items while going about your day when you can't play your DS.

One of the Best This game is very addicting and the pokewalker really makes you want to exercise to earn all those watts.

Heart gold Shipped in a few days, and arrived in perfect condition. No complaints here.

Great Game Heart gold is a good game, containing more fun than what I expected from it. I was getting a little bored of pearl, diamond, and platinum, because once you beat the elite 4, you are stuck. Heart Gold offers you much more after the league, including being able to travel to different regions.
Overall, a great game; I would give it five stars anyday.
tomorys(1) on 15, Nov. 2009 09:47 (HKT)
Great game! It was pretty amazing included many more features than the original game pokewalker was an amazing new feature even when you beat the game you just cannot put it down 5 stars if your waiting for the english version it is definitely worth the wait!

A Worthy Update I bought this game with very limited Japanese reading ability, and I'm having a blast with it. I've had very little trouble playing the game, though I am missing out on the finer points of the story. Pretty much every problem I've had has been solved with a little trial-and-error. I don't regret the purchase in the least, even if I still can't read much. It's an excellent update of an old favorite.
The Pokewalker is a nice touch, especially for those of us who remember the Pocket Pikachu 2 from the days of the original Gold and Silver.
quillandlauren(1) on 14, Nov. 2009 18:56 (HKT)
Superb game Nintendo games tend to be beautifully designed and HeartGold is no exception - I found it easy to follow this game even without any knowledge of Japanese. Of course, Japanese speakers will get a lot more out of it! Those with little or no Japanese, who have NOT played the original Gold/Silver as I have, may have to resort to FAQs to solve some storyline-based puzzles.
The graphical environments are lush and beautiful - the jump in quality from Diamond/Pearl to HGSS is almost as impressive as the jump from the third gen games to the DS games. Having your pokemon follow you is a wonderful touch. The game even encourages players to exercise (something gamers tend to need?) by taking a pokemon along with you via the Pokewalker pedometer - the more active you are, the happier your pokemon becomes, and the more stuff you get in the game!
Those who are old enough to remember the original GSC will find HeartGold a nostalgia trip with plenty of new things to do as well; those who are new to the series will discover what is often considered to be the best storyline of all the Pokémon games.

Awesome game This game is awesome!!!
joshnoon(1) on 13, Nov. 2009 15:18 (HKT)
Brilliant game. I've not yet finished the game, but from what i've played it is absolutely amazing. The in-game mechanics are top-notch and there's been a serious update over the 4th generation's game engine. I won't say anything about the story mode, but the game stays 90% true to the original G/S/C games we used to (and still do!) love. There's more side-quests added on and they make it all the more worthwhile buying. A definite buy for and pokemon or non-pokemon fan looking for a solid game on the DS!

Everything expected +! I ordered Pokemon Heart Gold (Japanese) with an impulse decision because i just couldn't wait for the US release. But once it arrived i didnt regret a penny spent! i love the classic gameplay and perfect remakes of the origional. The game only Made me to want to buy Soul Silver!
my2suns(2) on 12, Nov. 2009 06:46 (HKT)
Pokemon Soul Silver Soul Silver is like the same thing as Heart Gold except the end is different. Something i dident say about the two games is that the story is hard to transelate with it being in japanese. But the Two games are worth 120 us dollars.

Pokemon Heart Gold This game is soo awesome! I really wish the english one comes out very soon so that everyone can enjoy its awesomeness!

Great remake of the greatest pokemon game. I got this game about a month ago now and I absolutely love it. Gold was one of the first pokemon games I ever owned, and it brought back so many memories. The new addition of the stadium minigame and the Johto Safari Zone really make this not just a remake, but a completely new experience, even for experienced veterans of the series.
pyrby(1) on 10, Nov. 2009 22:06 (HKT)
Does Original Justice The newer games of Pokemon being released (diamond, pearl, platinum) were beginning to lose my attention ,I just felt something was missing, the charm you could say. Heart Gold and Soul Silver seem to bring it back for me. The newer look does not have that sluggish, slow feeling the previous mentioned have, and I am thoroughly enjoying this game. Pokemon fan? I reccommend.
jordankelley(1) on 10, Nov. 2009 20:36 (HKT)
The game rocks! The game is the best of all pokemon games. The only bad thing about it is i cant read the japonese on the game.So when i use my pokewalker i have to guess what to do.But other than that this game rocks.the graphics are perfect and i like how my pokemon follows me.This is the best game ever...Also i like the fact that the pokewalker lets you walk and can level up your pokemon.Go pokemon heart gold!
darien.shields(1) on 10, Nov. 2009 13:56 (HKT)
For Old Fans and New Pokémon Gold and Silver will be familiar to many, and if you were a fan of the old games then there's plenty of reasons to revisit them in this DS remake. All the qualities of the originals are recaptured, quality day/night gameplay mechanics, apricorns and making your own pokéballs, storing phone numbers on your pokégear and listening to the radio. The game incorporates the improved plot elements from Crystal as well, which can keep things new and interesting for those who have played Gold before.
But it's not all about nostalgia. Heart Gold and Soul Silver are the most recent and most advanced pokémon games with a lot of advantages even over Platinum. The game's interface has been completely redesigned to properly utilise the touch screen, allowing the game's menu to be controlled thus, as well as some surprisingly fun "Pokéthlon" Minigames. Another neat feature revived and expanded all the way from Pokémon Yellow is the ability for one of your pokémon to follow behind you at all times. And lets face it, there's not much cooler than having a firebreathing dragon following you about town.
Another new feature which requires particular attention is the pokéwalker. Most buyers probably won't be interested in this- I certainly wasn't when I picked the game up- but have come to quite enjoy it since. The device is a pedometer similar to the old school "Pokémon Pikachu". You put a pokémon from the game into the pedometer and it walks around when you do, building up "watts". Watts can be spent on encountering wild pokémon- including some difficult to catch in the game. Then you can send all the pokémon back to the regular game and get a little experience. I have a Kangaskhan and a Rapidash on my team now that I would not have been able to catch for some time without the Pokéwalker.
The Japanese language aspects of the game may prove daunting for some, however, the script of the game is mostly preserved from the originals, and if all else fails you can usually play by memory or FAQ based on how you advanced in the original.
And of course, if you're still out to Catch 'Em All, HG will add a huge number of pokémon to your roster.
A must-have for pokémon collectors, and also a great game just to pick up if you want to enter into the series.

Amazing Pokemon Game. I got this game a month or 2 ago, and I must say it is amazing. I beat it, and I got every Legendary, I love the new functions, and I love the new features, 5/5..more like 100/100 to me. I ordered Soul Silver few days ago, and I'll write a review when I get it. and The Pokewalker is just tooo amazing.
The best Pokemon game ever It has been almost 2 months since I got this game.
Simply 10/10 There are so many things to do daily and weekly including Poke-walker,Poke thlorn, and collecting all 16 gym badges in two different reigons!
Thank you for letting me play this game!

Good Remake It is an excellent game updated a new version for the GBA and even more accessible places for all in terms of connectivity, including besides the novelty and pokewalker as unrealistic the yellow version that you follow your pokemon.
As for the location of the legendary and almost all other events are scattered in the game longer and more exciting since its appearance for the GBA for me has been the best.
cotnoirchris(1) on 09, Nov. 2009 05:31 (HKT)
Surprising, but not Disappointing It is my opinion that over the past few years, Nintendo has been degenerating. They have done more than enough things to annoy the fanbase, and have caused many inconveniences in an attempt to swindle money.
However, This game, as well as its counterpart, Soul Silver, were are amazing exceptions.
While the names are a little odd, the games are no disappointment. There are a multitude of additions that make the game a whole new experience.
Many areas got completely redone, and other areas were added. More Legendaries were put in, the game became more convenient, and of course the update to 4th Generation standards.
Initially I doubted that these games would ever best the classics. However, I honestly believe, that somehow, they managed it. These games are, in my opinion, the best Pokemon games released to date. Nintendo put honest effort into these games, and really gave it their all. They managed to outdo what the majority of fans had long considered the best games ever, Gold, Silver, and Crystal.
There are so many innovative additions and so many nostalgiac memories preserved, that these games are truly a huge enjoyment to play. I highly recommend the purchase of one of these games, and both upon English release. You will not be disappointed.

awesome game. When I was about 7 years old, my first game was pokemon crystal version. This game is a very exciting game with a lot of different features from the originally. I really like the new sound track. The only problem i have with this game is that the champion is REALLY hard to beat.

Excellent Nintendo have pulled out all the stops with this remake of an old classic. It oozes nostalgia, but at the same time manages to offer something new for old fans. Nintendo has added in elements from the later games in the series such as the Battle Tower, the GTS, and Pal Park, to further enhance the original story and gameplay. It also comes with a gimmicky item called the Pokewalker, which is pretty cool as it lets you take your Pokemon for walks. Tired of battling? Go and compete in the Pokethlon, this game's version of contests. Instead of spoiling the rest for you, I'll just say that if you are a Pokemon fan, this game is a must-have! Buy it now!

Pokemon HeartGold This is an excellent game, even though it has different language dialouge is off, but it is definiately a great game to have! The delivery was also resonable, I got mine three days later. Only problem is, the female character should have been Kris/Marina.

After 10 years.. Pokemon Heart Gold and Soul Silver may have been the best Pokemon games to release for the Nintendo DS systems. The main storyline is the same as the storyline of Pokemon Gold and Silver, but now includes some twists from Pokemon Crystal and more. The graphics of these games really use the 3D engine and makes walking through routes and towns a joy to see. The music in these games are remarkable. From the fast-paced rival battle theme to the traditional Shinto style music for the Tin Tower, you'll probably listen to the soundtrack for a great reason. One of the best features of the game is the Wi-Fi compatibility and the Pokewalker itself. The Pokewalker is much like its predecessors the Pokemon Pikachu and Pokemon Pikachu 2 GS. You can bring your favorite Pokemon with you on your morning jog and such! There is so much to do after you have obtained all 16 badges and defeated a familiar figure. This is a great game for beginners, professional Pokemon battlers of today, and us old fans that appeared in the beginning of Pokemon.

Definately a 5 out of 5! We bought Pokemon Gold for my Stepson for his Birthday and he loves the game. He plays it everyday and even when we go away. I would recommend it for any Pokemon Fanatic!

The best ever made!! Incredible game. This remake it's gonna give us a lot more of time to enjoy pokemon world while getting all 16 badges and all pokemons. The original game was amazing, but this one with all the improves inside the game and pokewalker, it's simply the best pokemon ever made. Even the packaging is so beautiful. All Ds owners must have this one in their collection.

Best Pokemon Game Since the Original They recaptured the essence of the greatest Pokemon game ever made effectively with this beautiful remake. The new features are great, the good chunks of Diamond and Pearl are reused, and it's just straight up beautiful. Gamefreak seriously pulled out all the stops for this product. I have to go and buy Silver now.
senakobayakawa90(1) on 01, Nov. 2009 14:45 (HKT)
Game Freak and Nintendo do it again. Another Pokemon game, another several weeks of fun making my way through it. This game is a very faithful remake to the original Pokemon Gold version. However, the updated graphics, new additions to the game, and the inclusion of the PokeWalker accessory leave much more fun to be had. All in all, a very awesome game that I'd recommend to anyone I know.

Possibly the best in the series As a remake of the best games in the series, HeartGold stands out superbly. Fun and addictive gameplay make this a definite winner. If you don't speak Japanese, you shouldn't need to worry, since you could get through the game if you remember what to do from the original Gold/Silver/Crystal.
DalekCaek(1) on 24, Oct. 2009 12:38 (HKT)
Awesome This game is perfect in every way. I definitely recommend starting with this game if it is your first foray into Pokémon. Extremely replayable.

Love from an Old School Pokemaniac I love the fact that we have a new pedometer to go with this version of Gold & Silver. The ability to not only train your pokemon from the game, but to also capture additional pokemon as well as gifts to transfer back to the game is the most unique part of this version of the classic games and a definite treat for those of us who are still carrying our Pikachu2 from 10 years ago.
The inclusion of GTS from the D/P/Pt series a well as a few expansions on the ideas that were created for Platinum's WiFi Plaza.
While I wish I understood the Japanese language, this game will tide me over until the English language versions are released.

Heart Gold A blast from the past. This game is posibly the best pokemon game so far with the updated graphics, added content and getting to see updated kanto's upgrade. The original stroyline is still their (stopping the resarection of team rocket) but has had some intresting upgrades and it also incorparates the plotlinr from crystal to the story line too makeing this the longest, most action packed pokemon adventure game so far. As an added bonus you can even keep a pokemon of your choice as a portible pet via the pokewalker which lets you capeture pokemon, find items and gaine exp just by walking. Definitely a game to have.

Just AMAZING! Everything about this game is epic. The battles, the new pokemon sprites, the graphics, and the music which is an important part of a video game. This game is definitely the best pokemon rpg in my list. If you get stuck in the game because you don't understand japanese dont' worry, just go to youtube.com and you will find plenty of walkthroughs. Preferably use Marrilands walkthrough, he gives detailed information about the game. For those of you who still don't believe the "No region Protection" and are wondering if the game will actually work on your english dsi YES it will. It works perfectly in my DSi and my original fat DS.

Best Pokemon Game Ever Played through the whole game and loved every bit of it. Great improvements on what was already a great game, and I love how they've mixed Gold/Silver and Crystal's stories into one. Also great to have 2 regions within the one game again, with Kanto being given more content than the original G/S.

It took a while to get here... ...but it was worth the wait. This game is amazing. I remember playing the originals when I was younger, and this is a trip down memory lane well worth the money. The PokeWalker is a cool added bonus, too.

Soul Silver. Back when Silver and Gold versions came out they were my favorite till these came out. Soul Silver is beyond the best pokemon game i've ever had. The Graffics are amazing, Team Rocket is back, your Pokemon can now follow you around and you can talk to them! the only negative thing about it is that i don't read Japanese so i get confused sometimes. But this is a "MUST-HAVE" game for any Pokemon fan out there. It'll sure put a smile on your face.

One of the best DS RPGs Pokemon Heart Gold and Soul Silver are a remarkable pair of DS games.
They're packed with tons of content and will last anyone hours of playtime.
With the Pokewalker accessory you can carry your Pokemon anywhere you go. Plus you can obtain items and more Pokemon while you walk around.
Overall the games are a great package and anyone will enjoy them.

Very Great Game This game is a very great remake of the original Pokemon Gold and Silver. I have had so much fun playing this game, trying to beat all the gym leaders, catch all the Pokemon and battling Trainers! I would recomend this game to any Pokemon fan out there! I give it 5 Stars.

They've finally got it right I'll go through some of the basics of the game itself since it seems like every one has praised it to death. Here is a list of nitpickiny things that I like/dislike about the game:
pros
1. The Pokemon follow you around. If they are really big (wailord) they will not follow behind you in buildings
2. the box is very efficient now. you can drag and drop pkmn into different boxes or in your party and vise versa. the bag has also been fixed. No more scrolling for 25 minutes just to get to the bottom. It works like a booklet you can flip to the front and back with ease
3. permenant running. The shoes are an equip item (like the bike) as long as they are on you can press forward and you'll run. If you turn them off you can walk or run but in the manual "mario fashion"
4. pkmn have new animations
5. There is a slight graphical upgrade from Platinum. the game is very...scenic. You can hear footsteps whether you're walking along a shore line, in the sand, on pavement, grass, or in a metal building.
6. If the pkmn that is following you uses a TM, they will have a little animation. If you use flash, they pkmn's body will flash, if you do surf they will hop in font of you and jump into the water among other things.
7. Viridian forest is in the game
8. headbutting trees is hundreds of times better than that crappy honey gimmick of the D/P/Pt generation, also if you headbut a tree in the forest in the daytime, nocturnal pkmn (like hoot-hoot) will be asleep
9. The music is astounding the remixes are very catchy and elegant. Easily some of the best music on the DS.
10. when you first fight the E4, they are the same as they were in the olf school days, but after you get all of the badges in Kanto they have a major upgrade of about 30 levels and their pokemon teams are rearranged to showcase pkmn from ALL generations. BTW goodluck with Lances Garchomp
CONS
that damned phone. Its used as a "versus seeker" to re-fight trainers but its a bit limiting and they call you at odd times. worse yet you cannot delete numbers if you get one from a trainer you you're stuck with them talking about how they "almost" caught a weedle for the billionth time. they do level up nicely as you rechallenge them
that's pretty much it. Other than that the game is perfect. don't expect anything extravagantly different, it is a remake afterall, but its easily one of the best pkmn games to date.

A must buy game. This game is amazing, it has all the things that any PokeFan would want, any Pokemon follows you, appears Team Rocket again, the true meaning of what a Rival is, two regions in one game, and all the characteristics of Pokemon Platinum (GTS, Tutors, etc).
A really good game for any fan, this is even better for those who left Pokemon when the RSE versions appeared.
Feel the nostalgia of the incredible Johto region.

Pokemon HG/SS is...remarkable! (not anime contests connected lol) I have only had the game since like 2 days after it came out in Japan, and I love it. Haven't gotten too far, since I have been busy lately, but overall, very good. Brings back good memmories. Looking forward to the future wifi events I can get having the game in Japanese and plan on buying the next Japanese main Pokemon game for the DS. Thank you Play-Asia.com! Pokemon Heart Gold Pokemon Heart Gold is a delightful game for any fan of the pokemon series if your familiar with the original story wise everything is pretty much how it was in pokemon crystal some of the locations have been revamped the music is completely redone but still with the hint of classic touch to it. even if you do not have a large concept of japanese their are already enough online resources to get through it. MUST HAVE for any pokemon fan especially those who play pokemon competitively.

Pokemon Nostalgia And A Great Experience For First Timers Pokemon Heart Gold (and Soul Silver) is a throwback to the classic GBC title released just 10 years ago. The base content for the game remains the same from its original source material (Pokemon Gold and Silver)- You start off as a young trainer just like all previous Pokemon titles, and you journey through a land to become a Pokemon master. However, like its source material, this is THE ONLY Pokemon game to allow you to journey through not one, but two different regions AND you can have your own Pokemon actually follow you around throughout your journey!!! Along the way you collect badges, meet TONS of different species of Pokemon native to the land of Johto, and later on Kanto, as well as butting heads with the likes of Team Rocket- an evil organization bent on reviving itself and bringing the team's deserting leader, Giovanni, back out of hiding to run the show once more. New to Pokemon games is a touch screen based mini game called the Poke'thlon, which features 10 different mini games ANY Pokemon you capture can compete in for points, which can later be spent on hard to find evolution stones, among other rarities. Also, like with Pokemon Platinum version, you are able to challenge the Battle Frontier alone or with a friend via Wifi or local wireless play, but in Heart Gold (Soul Silver) the Frontier features NEW move tutors which can teach your Pokemon never before obtainable moves! Pokemon Heart Gold (Soul Silver) also come packaged with a new virtual pet-like device called the Poke'walker, which allows you to transfer ANY Pokemon you obtain in your Pokemon Heart Gold and Soul Silver game packs over to it to go on a walk, and using the device you can participate in "mini battles" to capture up to 3 additional Pokemon, as well as find items to transfer back to your game! Pokemon Heart Gold (and Soul Silver) version is the opitome of Pokemon greatness and is the most advanced and feature packed title to date in the franchise! If youre a fan, or just becoming interested in the series- this game is a must buy!

Best updated port ever! This game was the best in the series on Gameboy Color. Pokemon Soulsilver & Heartgold are perfect prots to the DS. They stay true to all the elements of the Gameboy versions including story (more in-depth), music (upgraded), maps (some new areas), characters, and more. These games both have something to do with Suicune's story from Soulsilver. Suicune is the legendary dog of Pokemon Crystal and jumps around on the map until he decides when you can fight.
The main map takes place on Johto 3 years after the events of Red/Blue/Green. After completing the Johto journey and defeating the Elite 4, you have access to Kanto to battle 8 more gym leaders.
I did not play this game as worshipingly or as fast as I did Soulsilver. I played Soulsilver first mostly in 1 sitting and did not have the energy to do that to another game. I used this game mostly to start with all 3 starter Pokemon and to get the Lugia, Ho-Oh, and Arceus figures. I noticed no difference between these 2 games other than a different title screen so far.
In Heartgold, Ho-Oh is your main target Pokemon to catch. Use about 60 Ultra-Balls on it. Other than this, the only thing I noticed different are wild Pokemon.

Nostalgia achieved. It's been a long time since I played Gold & Silver versions, and these remakes do them great justice. I don't know Japanese, but playing the game is rather easy without it. Remixed music is great, and the retelling of the story is simply amazing.
If you have or haven't had the privilege of visiting the Johto Region back in Gold & Silver, you should pick up a copy of these remakes.

Worst Shipping It said "usually" 5-10 days for shipping, complete lie. When my friends order from Play-Asia, it usually arrives within 3-4 weeks. It hasn't even arrived yet. They need to make a shipping improvement. But I'm glad they themselves ship it FROM THE WAREHOUSE (not the postal service) very fast.

Great Game!! Despite the fact that the game is only in japanaese, there is no language barrier. People who already played Pokémon should not have any problems playing this game.(The gameplay is as usual as in every Pokémon game.)
It's a great pleasure to play the game again with all the new details and to travel again to Johto and Kanto!!
The game itself is a remake of Pokémon Gold which appeared approax. 10 years ago.
The graphics, animations and sounds are amazing detailed and clear.
I highly recommend this game!!

Very Nice Game Pokemon Heart Gold is an excellent remake to the original gold/silver versions. If you haven't yet played gold/silver before then now is a perfect time to get into it.
Truly amazing 3D Graphics most notably on the Elite 4 that was amazing. A very solid story line that was well kept to the original crystal version. Also this games musical instruments is the first one that utilizes a guitar and i am certain that we will be hearing more of that in future games.

Pokemon HeartGold Pokemon Gold Heart and Soul Silver impressed me since the first minute of play. The touch screen has been more integrated into the game, you can now buy from a sample of items to control everything on the bottom of the screen.
The music is very good.
What I can say time is that Heart and Soul Gold Silver Pokemon games are the best ever.

The best Pokemon Game! Pokemon GoldHeart and SoulSilver impressed me since the first minute of play. There are many small innovations, among other things you can hear the water splashing. The touch screen has been more integrated into the game. The music is very good.
What I can say time is that HeartGold and SoulSilver Pokemon games are the best.

Awesome Pok幦on Game I've played the game a bit now and it's real fun. Gold and Silver were already awesome, but together with the new features and graphics of the NDS generation they're almost perfect Pokémon games. I also like the Pokéwalker you get together with each game. At the moment you can download a special Pikachu course for it, where you're able to find Pikachus taught flying and surf, which are surely very uncommon. So it would definitely be a good idea to get the game bevore november 10th, because the course won't be available after that.

Heart Gold Review I am very happy with the game visually. It has a rather smooth game play, and has tons of new material, to make any pokemon fan proud.
Although I don't think it deserves a 5/5, all pokemon fans will enjoy the new Johto.

Best Game for Pokemon Fans Have been waiting for this game to release for years. Now finally get it. It has evolved from the original version. All the graphic and music are very nice. Good for both old and new fans.

Gold & Silver Return So for years now, people have been asking, nay, begging for Gold and Silver remakes, due to the fact that they were just so great.
Well now we have them, and Gamefreak, do not let us down.
These games mark the return of the apricorn trees, headbutt trees and what i personally love, the return of pokemon following you around, and waht makes that particular aspect even greater is that the sprite can also be shiny.
The graphics are truely amazing, and really show off the 3D rendering that D/P/Pt lacked.
As per the first run of these games, the remakes keep Kanto in the game, but with added impact. Several pokemon make returns to kanto, namely Mewtwo and the legendary birds, all of which were abolished from the originals.
However, several pokemon have leapt into this game from Hoenn, the weather trio Groudon, Kyogre and Rayquaza, as well as Latios and Latias all make an appearance.
I'm positive that upon purchase and then when you play this game, you will immediately remember just how great these games were first time around.
And for first time buyers of the pokemon games, or for those who missed the first run of these games, your in for a heck of a game.

Great Game! This is probably one of the very best Pokemon games I have ever played. The music and graphics are amazing. I highly suggest buying this game! You don't need to know any Japanese to play this, all you need is knowledge of Pokemon!
mickysboys(3) on 12, Oct. 2009 02:42 (HKT)
awsome this game is so fun to play. I love the new graphics.
sbroome100(3) on 11, Oct. 2009 21:54 (HKT)
This Game is brillaint!! What a flash from the past with MAJOR improvements and a fantastic story and plot.
The graphics have been imporved drastically and this is the most beautiful game graphics wise on the Nintendo DS to date.
The Pokewalker you get free!, is awesome and just walking helps you with your fitness and your pokemon levels and chances of getting rarer pokemon such as on the Wi-fi only course you can get wild Pikachu which know Surf, Fly, Volt Tackle.
There's over 9 legendary pokemon in this game, which is the most available in any pokemon game.
This is by FAR, the best game on the nintendo DS at the moment and it is no wonder that in Japan alone, this game along with Soul Silver sold 2 MILLION Units in a weekend!
Get this game and you GOTTA Catch em All!!!!
duffypauld(1) on 11, Oct. 2009 18:16 (HKT)
Achieving the impossible Pokemon heartgold manages to be the perfect trip down memory lane for life long fans and an excellent stand alone game for newer fans of the series. The game includes everything from the origional and more. With excellent graphics, remixed sound and tones of new pokemon not least the notch eared pichu, it's a must have for any pokefan. The inclusion of the pokewalker adds limitless hours of play as you now train a favourite pokemon while on the go. Using the pokewalker you can raise a pokemons level, happiness and even battle and capture pokemon many with moves they would not normally know. Everything considered I rate this game 10/10

It's been 10 years 10 years ago this game brought me into the world of pokemon and I have not left since. With the remake, I just couldn't believe it. We get the music, the graphics, all of the original story with the some new additions.
I loved this game 10 years ago and I love the remake.

Great Product Great game with super graphics. Good remake.

Good old Pokemon! The same GSC that every Pokemon fan love. Its the same game but with some new areas and new features like the Battle Frontier ( not available in the original one) and the Pokethlon. The must impressive thing about the game is the new remixed soundtrack, the graphics and the details. With details I mean the new little adds to the areas, like the water lilies, some 3D areas and water effects. All of this things make this game a whole and *new* experience

Gotta Catch 'em ALL!!! Ah~
It's so nice to see all the locations from GSC redone with nice graphics.
Having your pokemon follow you around is so cute, and now thanks to the pokewalker they can follow you in real life too!

Still No Game My friend ordered this game for me on the 20th September, and it shipped the next day. It's now the 2nd October, and still no game. From the other reviews, I can see there are people that have been waiting longer than me.
I'm sure the game will be amazing, but the delivery time is ridiculous.

I DISAGREE 100%!!! pokemonplayer09 is not right because there is alot more you can do like walk with your pokemon and the new pikachu colored pichu! the game was created because gold and silver are too out dated so nintendo and gamefreak created pokemon heartgold and soulsilver to renew and update those old graphics to new amazing graphics that blow you away! heartgold and soulsilver is the best idea gamefreak and nintendo created because now you can acually "catch them all!"

A lazy rehash, not a game produced with heart and soul Welcome to Pokemon Crystal, version 1.01. That's essentially what Pokemon HeartGold and SoulSilver are: lazy, unimaginative rehashes hastily cranked out by GAMEFREAK for an easy cash-in.
There is virtually ZERO new content in this game that is not present in one form or another in Pokemon Crystal or Pokemon Platinum. There are NO new Pokemon species, battle moves, abilities or natures. EVERY Pokemon in HG/SS can be readily obtained from already-released GBA and DS Pokemon games. Even the Battle Frontier is a direct copy and paste from Pokemon Platinum with zero changes.
Unlike FireRed and LeafGreen, which added the Sevii Islands, the aren't even a dozen new maps in HG/SS. Instead, "new" additions are inserted here and there: Battle Frontier to Olivine City, Safari Zone to Cianwood, Pal Park (same one as D/P/Pt--surprised?) to Fuchsia City.
Almost none of the problems from the original Gold/Silver have been fixed in this incremental upgrade. The Rocket Execs, Elite Four members and gym leaders remain far too underleveled, including their rematches by the time you have access to them. The PokeGear is still annoying, and about once every five minutes, you'll get telephone calls from some bug catcher telling you about how awesome it is to watch his Pokemon become stronger. Kanto is still the same old, watered-down version, with landmarks such as Silph Co., Pokemon Tower and Cinnabar Island being partially closed off or gutted--and this time, lack of cartridge space is no longer an excuse.
Only two groups will possibly find these ports of any value: (1) folks who have never played Gold/Silver/Crystal before and (2) those who have insatiable amounts of rose-tinted nostalgia for the originals. For veterans of the Pokemon games, HG/SS offers nothing new or remotely interesting/revolutionary to the franchise, even for so-called "enhanced remakes." Just grab an old, cheap copy of Pokemon Crystal from eBay if you're so inclined, and save yourself some cash.

Perfect Reminiscence すごくかわいい☆ㅅㅡㅅ きゃあああ~ぼくのこころはうれしです。When I received this game yesterday, I was blown away by the amazing nostalgic New Bark Town music. The game play is similar to the originals, BUT this remake has lots of wonderful surprises in store for the player. I LOVED the Japanese instrumentals of the dance studio and Ecruteak City which is so amazing, not only that but the kanto themes are so uplifting, every theme paints a beautiful sunset in my heart as i think of the old days^^ The fact that you can let you favorite pokemon follow you shiny or not is an uber cute bonus^.^ THE GRAPHICS receives a 100/10 :3! You can even hear the ocean when your are near a sea route~ this game exceeded my expectations, everything just comes to life and this game has the heart and soul to make any poke fan go wild♥ A MUST BUY for any HARDCORE POKEMON FAN!!! I wish you all a happy adventure in Jhoto+ Kanto!
