Heart Gold is the sequel to the Pokemon Fire Red/ Leaf green released in 2004 on Game Boy Advance. 3 years after the initial defeat of the Rocket Organization, a new hero is setting off on a new journey in the Jouto area. Receiving a pokemon from the researcher Dr. Utsugi, off you go on your adventures and meet all the pokemon and challenges.
The Rocket Organization who has been using pokemon as tools back in the Kanto area are back. What are they aiming for this time? Can you become the hero to save the day? Train your pokemon in the gyms, enter the pokemon league and duel with the gym leaders to earn badges. Aiming at the top place in the pokemon trainer world, off you go!
Train your pokemon as you walk. Take the pokemon walker with you wherever you go. The more steps you take, the more experience your pokemon become. Use the infrared device to put your strengthened pokemon into the game world in your DS.
More legendary pokemon are showing up. Tame Ho-oh, the fiery phoenix in Heart Gold.
Pokemon Heart Gold As Pokemon Games go, this is hands down the best so far. I've played almost all the former games, and this one has more features, more wild pokemon, more sidequests, more map to explore, more legendary pokemon, and on and on.
I'm not really sure how they're gonna top this next time?!?!
As an english only speaker, having the game solely in Japanese is a bit of a headache, but there are plenty of guides out there online to walk you through it by the hand.

No title Gorgeous graphics and a stellar upgrade from the original series in music make this game a pleasure on the eyes and the ears. There have been enough changes in the storyline for even someone who played the original games to be surprised and enchanted. I can't wait for the English version to be released.

Entertaining and educational I bought the game with intention of learning japanese alphabet and so far it has worked more than well. I've become able to read most hiragana in three days. Though some sort of an understanding of japanese spoken language is neccesary to gain any type of language skills from the game I still recommend this game for any anime fan who wishes to take steps towards a better understanding of the japanese language. Not neccesarily the most easy way to learn but very fun indeed.
I also played the original long ago and the nostalgic value of the game is huge! The music takes you back 10 years and reinvigorates the golden memories of a great game.

Great game, but not new The "new" Pokemon is still a great game. The game series has more than 10 years and continues selling well. There's a great game, like all the Pokemon Games, there's a new item called Poke Walker. The Poke Walker incentives the games making exercises to evolue your Pokemon. This shows how Nintendo cares about the health of the users of your products. I recommend.

Best Pokemon Game So Far~ This game is amazing. Not only is it a remake of one of the best Pokemon games, it added a ton of other things as well. The Pokethlon, a Pokemon minigame triathlon, is very fun. There are also quite a few downloadable events so far. And the graphical updates are of course nice! The Pokewalker that comes with it is another plus. It's really cool to be ablo to take my game Pokemon wherever I go and train them even if I'm not playing my DS.
