In Ouendan, you are a member of a "support squadron". Your mission is simple: help out those in need to bring peace to the world...
The game is essentially a rhythm game, however with a very odd storytelling along the way. Using your stylus, you touch 'Hit Markers' that appear on the screen in conjunction with the movement of a 'Timer Cycle'. Get many strikes in a row to build up combos and boost your score.
The game is presented in an interesting comic-book style.
Fun For Everyone This game is a great Rhythm game.
People who enjoyed elite beat agent should try this game because you can say this is the daddy of that game.
Manly cheerleaders wher never that funny like they are in this game.
Funny stories and problems you need to solve by supporting the character that needs your help.
From students with studie problems to Musicians with stomach problems.
Even cleopatra needed there help
There is nothing these fellows can't solve with a little dance and a few shouts.
I didn't have the same fun feeling with elite beat agents and i felt even a little insulted because i played this game and elite beat agents was the western version of Ouendan.
So if you don't know what to take , Elite Beat Agents or Ouendan
I say go for Ouendan
Well it's japanese but you don't have to understand it because the pictures of the storie line says enough

They turned out to be ouendan! i tried i Stunk at it then he had to go but he told me about elite bea agents. Then i bought it and played and played but i stunk! After a couple days i beat elite beat agents. A couple of my fav songs on there are: La la, September, Jumpin jack flash and sk8er boi!

if you know elite beat... you know ouendan good game. if you don't know japanese, it simply doesn't matter. just like elite beat agents only different songs (duh. different countries). anyway, buy it and give play asia money. they deserve it for continuing to stock this bad boy.

Best DS game Besides the sequel I first tried it on my sister's DS. I loved it so much I got DS of my own Just for it (and EBA+Ouendan 2).
Fun but not as good as Ouendan It's a fun game and the songs are alright but the one thing I couldn't stand is how the story and characters are kinda lame. The agents for example look lame. I mean come on....secret agents that dance. They try and have a cool westernized look about them but I reckon it looks more stupid and lame than cool.
In comparison in Ouendan 1 & 2 however the characters don't look lame and have a more comedic feel and look to them which PERFECTLY suits the nature of the game.
The gameplay in EBA is still there and it's just as addictive but I found it more irritating to play than Ouendan. Plus since it's in English rather than Japanese it kind of loses that anime feel.
I bought EBA first out of the 3 and it was a blast to play but the issues I mentioned, while may seem ridiculous to mention to some bugged me so much that I sold it on eBay once I finished the game. A while later I bought the Ouendan games and decided to keep them because the songs are all good and I didn't find it irritating to play like I did in EBA.
