A real drilling experience!
Firstly, buy the JAP or UK version as these offer better extra's thats ths USA Vers. has not got. This game continues to offer lots of fun & is easily the best version on ANY platform, the 2 sceens are ideal for this game & the many driller versions on offer are sure to keep your up for hours & hours. Anybody not familiar with a Mr.Driller game should sort themselves out & buy this today you wont be dissapointed. Another great puzzler from Namco.

Most addictive game for the system
This is one of the first games I bought for the DS. I traded the US version for the Japanese, which has more features and extra levels that really extend the replay value. It is still the game I play the most often, by far. Simple, addictive gameplay, very easy to pick up and play any time. And enough unlockable levels, characters, and game modes to keep you interested, along with always trying to get a new high score.

Great game, but get the Japanese ver.
I had the American version of this game, and absolutely loved it, but traded it in for the Japanese version because of the things they cut out of the U.S. release. Which include (but are not limited to): One of the four play modes, one playable character, two levels in the normal mode (the fun ones with random powerup items), some menu animation, a few background music songs, basically all the little things that gave the game more variety. I have NO IDEA why they would do such a thing; they obviously put a lot of effort into releasing a scaled-down version. And since it's a puzzle game, there's not a lot of need to understand Japanese (though a basic knowledge of katakana helps with the menus). I'd recommend this game on so many levels, it's simple yet challenging and horribly addictive, but do yourself a favor and get the import.
