In Ouendan, you are a member of a "support squadron". Your mission is simple: help out those in need to bring peace to the world...
The game is essentially a rhythm game, however with a very odd storytelling along the way. Using your stylus, you touch 'Hit Markers' that appear on the screen in conjunction with the movement of a 'Timer Cycle'. Get many strikes in a row to build up combos and boost your score.
The game is presented in an interesting comic-book style.

Awesome game play
This is one of the few rhythm games that was released in the English speaking world. Based on Osu! Tatakae! Ouendan!, it retained the cute comic style and the touch/slide game play. A must buy for rhythm game fans.

Best Musical Game For Me
The music contained in this game are great! The use of the stylus is right on. This is one of the best rhythmn game you can find for the DS. I have been playing this game everyday since I received it.

Fun and Cheap (contain spoilers)
I brought this game because of the price, plus it is a music game. As expect, English music and the voice giving totally different feeling compared to Japanese. After accepted the change of atmosphere you will enjoy the same rhythmic style of game and the funny cartoon.
Quite challenging, and you have to do the O thing every songs. LOL Last song divided to 2 parts. So you better not switch off the game set if you need to do other business. The title cartoon of each song somehow slower than expected. I totally skip them all.
Worth and therefore BEST !!
