One of the best RPGs
This is a good game for Law and Order fans, general cop drama fans, and also anyone who likes a good puzzle. If you'd like to hone your skills in remembering minute details, this is a game you might want to look into.

I was really pleasantly surprised. Perhaps gamers who are into action + graphics won't be impressed with this game, and that's fine. But gamers who are into figuring things out logically and finding loopholes... this might be something that will interest you.

One of the best games I've ever played
This is one of the most incredible games ever. I was addicted to it the first time I laid hands on it. Honestly, this game would be one that I would totally play all over again for the thrill and suspense. The characters were awesome and the fingerprint feature was really fun. ^-^ Buy this and I'm sure you won't regret it if you're up for a brainy challenge!

when I first heard of this game the premise was original enough to pique my curiosity. when I started playing I was afraid that the game would be too easy, but that did not turn out to be the case. by the fifth case I even found myself stumped at several points. the game is lots of fun, with a healthy sense of humor. the japanese version comes in japanese and english. highly recommended!

Brilliant
Finally, a new Capcom franchise worth purchasing. Phoenix Wright is an excellent old-school point and click adventure with hilarious dialogue and great character art. With 5 lengthy cases to go through, this one is definitely a keeper.

What a gorgeous Limited Edition package! It comes with a really random manga, awesome stylus and wrist strap, as well as the game and soundtrack!

This game reminded me a little of Boston Legal, it had its own hilarious moments but serious ones too.

Despite the limited replay value, I'd like to think it's just like a book; you'd want to pick it up and read it again if you like it!

Great gameplay, innovative to say the least. Camco have done what hasn't been done before, took a relatively un-intresting topic (law) and made a brilliant game. It inspired me to look up law!!
Recommended to anyone with brains or a walkthrough.

A fantastic game! Don't be put off by the mainly text based approach this game has a fantastic story with great characters and gameplay which has kept me entertained for hours at a time! There is very limited replay value but your first time through this game will be unforgettable. It's a surprising rush during a court phase when you find the flaw in their testimony and see them fall apart on the stand. And at this price it is brilliant value for money! The soundtrack in particular is very good and it is well worth checking out the orchestrated version. No reservations from me, BUY IT!!

OMG YESS!
Finally got the game in the mail. I was so excited to play it so i quickly opened the box and put the game into the DS lite. So far, episode one, i'm on episode one in the game. I ordered on the 11th and got it 10 days later...glad that it came in great condition. Exverything was flawless, thanks play asia for having such an amazing roster of games to choose from.

Great Game
This game is very cool. The story has lots of humor and I never want to put the game down until I finish a case. The fact that is has an English language option makes it even better. Considering how hard it is to find the English version of this game, this is a great way to play the game since the English script is in it. Highly recommended.

I just recieved this game yeterday from Play-Asia (BTW super-fast shipping) and it's indeed one of the best games in my books. It's simply astonishing how the story sucks you in. The court cases are masterpieces how ingenius the creators have made them to be with twist and turns at every point you make. I'm glad to be able to play this game due to the outstanding sell out of this game making this game hard to find in North America.

This game is a must have for any DS owner, and essential to anyone's collection. The reprint has an option for english so there's absolutely no reason why you shouldn't import this. Take it from a collector - this game is worth your time. Absolutely brilliant game, and the quality of service from play-asia was excellent. Five days from play-asia to New Zealand, on the lowest price for shipping, is an excellent deal. I look foward to dealing with them again in the future.

Best game ever! The stories are great. It just like reading a novel, but much more interesting than that. Finding edvidences in the scene and contradiction in the testimony makes it really fun. The music is good too.

Compré este juego gracias a las ofertas semanales, y una vez lo recibí he de reconocer que me dejó sorprendido el como desde el primer caso me absorvió. Su planteamiento se puede asimilar a la serie Detective Conan, aunque sin llegar a ser tan sorprendente como dicha serie. Recomiendo este juego encarecidamente a todos los poseedores de una NDS, a tener en cuenta que tiene selector de idioma para textos en inglés por si vuelve ha aparecer como oferta semanal o baja de precio, aunque siempre queda la alternativa de comprarlo en las tiendas físicas.

Brilliant Game - Buy it!
This game has a storyline that leaves an impact on you like Metal Gear Solid except with Lawyers!

The music complements the tension and twists of the story perfectly as do the quirky anime like characters who are quite funny to talk to and are extremely well animated as they get cut down by you pointing out the contradictions in their testimony's. The sound track is so good that i would actually consider buying the OST if i can find it ;).

The only flaw with this game is that it has to end and due to the nature of it being full of story twists it will make it hard to play again without leaving the game for a while so that you forget them all. But with that said it has what i'd estimate at about 20 hours of solid gameplay and it is all quality time spent hunched over your DS so you get your moneys worth ;).

Other things you should know is that there is the full english translation in the game, the exact same one used in the US release. There is no need to read the manual since the first trial is like a tutorial and tells you everything you need to know.

The only thing i had to figure out was how to yell "Objection!" and "Hold It!" into my DS which is just done by holding down the Y button to enable the microphone. This is obviously to avoid having background noises intefere when you don't want them to and works quite well and the interaction helps immerse you in the whole story.

Seriously do yourself a favour and pick this up, you will not regret it. Out of the 10 or so DS games i have this is up there with Castlevania which is no small feat to accomplish considering the huge Castlevania fan i am.

The greatness that is Gyakuten Saiban DS just has to be experienced. After you are done with it you can join me and everyone else who has played it in waiting for the sequel ;).

The nice story and amusing, anime-like expressions make this game superb. You get to study the evidence and think about the words of the witnesses. Doesn't offer much replay value, but I wouldn't miss this smart game for anything!
