Good if you already know Japanese
This is clearly designed for people who already understand and read/write all or most of the Jyouyou Kanji (that's the basic 1,945 kanji that the Japanese Govt has determined is what you need know in order to be fully functional as an adult in Japan) to "brush up" on their Kanji skills. The main "adventure" game and the kanji drill section start off using Japanese Jr/Sr. High School level kanji. The "test" portion of the game does start off at a pretty basic level and allows you to advance up to higher levels but the test section is only about 10% of the game and since it's in a test format, it's not really good for learning. If you know less than 1,400 kanji then this probably isn't for you.
