My little girl is orverjoyed! Like the last person to review this I bought this as a birthday present for my daughter. It was her birthday yesterday and she loved it to pieces! Along with the DS I bought her a copy of Nintendogs and Animal Crossing. She loves it to pieces!

I love my DS! I've had my pink ds for a few days now and love it. My boyfriend and I had a black DS that was meant to be for sharing! But he hogged it the whole time so I got myself the candy pink DS. We already had Animal Crossing but he uses it all the time so I ordered myself a copy along with the DS! I think our Nintendogs game in mine too now (seeing as he has never played it!). Thanks Play-Asia! And the candy was great!
Nintendo DS Candy Pink I just got my Nintendo ds yesterday,but I am already having a blast.Although it got back ordered and took a while to get shipped it was well worth the wait. I over-all think this was a great gift.
One of the best purchases I ever made! My boyfriend and I have been sharing his blue DS for months now, and its become a problem since Animal Crossing came out. I decided to treat myself for Valentines day with this beautiful machine. It cetainly was a treat! Shipping was very speedy, and the package was in mint condition. DS White Although in the picture it looks like its truly pure white, I'd have to rate it more of an ivory white. Its got the meshy short of thing like the silver DS, but its much nicer as the back is a ceramic white as are the buttons. There is a bit of a problem in the fact that if it stains, it shows. The cushions on the back need most attention. I got mine slightly stained red, cuz i was using one of those nitrogen cleaner cans to blow out the dust, and i sprayed it onto a red cloth i was using to wipe the DS, but the color went onto the cushion. You can remove the battery cover side and put it in bleach for 3 or 4 days and it should look good as new... as for the other one... uhm... you're on your on... =P
Best Looking DS!! It just arrived yesterday and we played with it all day. The graphite black is the best looking DS color.. it's very sleek and the texture is better than all the other colors. The Pink Nintendo DS rules! I had a pink gba sp and loved it but for Christmas I asked for a pink ds and got it along with nintendogs , sims 2 , narnia and a pink ds accessory pack. it is great and I love it!
International order to the US for my wife ^^ My wife got hooked on my DS.
So, of course, she wanted one herself. The catch is that she wanted the pink one and you can not get that in the US.

Had to import the Pink one for the wife so that I could get my Red one back! The wife used my red DS for Nintendog that I never had any play time for Advance Wars DS. I told her I'd get a DS for her and she wanted the Pink one, which I couldn't find at a decent price in the US. This Candy Pink has a pearl shine to it. Quite a stand out compared to the flat red DS.

Looking for tree days! I've been looking for sites that sell a japanese version NDS! well, its just here! japanese versions differ from those of any version... i saw it when i compared my two GBA which is from china and japan! japan really marks the spot! the LCD projects more intricate colors than the other! Pure White Soooo nice, ordering mine tommorow... CAN"T WAIT!!!
I got this the day before Christmas Eve... And it's totally awesome! The graphics are very good, and the sound quality is much better than my Nintendo Gamecube. The touch screen feature makes it a lot easier to choose items while playing than using the control pad. I've been playing this non-stop since I got it. Overall, it's fun to play when you're travelling and have nothing to do. I went on a twelve hour ride in the car, and it was a lot more fun with this. It's the best thing I've ever played with!
Wonderful Not only did it come earlier then expected (only one day after it was ordered) but it looks so much better then any color sold here in the states. The candy was a fun bonus as well.
huzzah! I had a pink gba and loved it. I really wanted a pink ds when I learned of it's existence, so I ordered it alright. It's great. Much cooler than the silver one. and my pink kirby stylus goes with it well. Fully compatable with all games, of course, and also fully compatable with the nintendo wifi connection. This was my first time ordering anything, and they shipped it out quickly and even put in a little packet of weird japanese candy. Awesome!
More fun than the PSP... I'm more of a Sony guy, but I have to admit, I have more fun with the DS than my PSP. Sure, the PSP has more features, but if you want those features on your DS, then I suggest that you guys should get the Play-Yan for it. I got the Turquoise Blue DS for my nephew for his X-mas present, now I'll planning to get the White one for myself. Why pay $20 more than the U.S Nintendogs version since their's are blue too? Well don't fool, the Nintendogs version is dull and has that faded look, while this one is bright. And plus, Play Asia is the only place that selling them cheap, while other stores are selling them nearly $200.

The Red DS is very beautiful, but be careful, the red is very very intense, it's much more flashy than the europeen grey. The console is in first in japanese but you can change the language (french, english, spanish, italien and some others) and it reads all games (japanese, PAL, americans). Ah and for the end, don't forget to buy a transformer 110V/220V or a local loader (in France you can find it about 7 �).
AH !! and by airmail I haven't have preventing tax :)

Rien à dire, j'ai commandé dans les périodes de noël donc le colis a mis un peu plus de temps à arriver que d'habitude (16 jours en airmail contre 6-7 d'habitude). Mais rien à dire après, le colis était très bien emballé et Play-Asia s'est même permi de me donner quelques bonbons :p Je n'ai pas eu de douane, rien !
La DS rouge est très jolie, par contre c'est un rouge très flashi, ça ne plaira pas à tout le monde. Et n'oubliez pas d'acheter un chargeur ou un transformateur, ce ne sont pas les mêmes prises au Japon.

White DS Rocks! I just sold my silver DS for this white one and let me tell you something - it looks amazing. I was very weary at first and not sure weather i'd like it or not since i'd never seen in "in the flesh" but I just got mine this morning and it was worth every penny! It looks absolutely fantastic! If you're not sure, I'd say buy it!

White was dissappointing The DS gets a 5 star rating but the color gets a 2. It's got that sparkle flaking that the Platinum does. The problem is that the flake makes it look almost like the platinum. Makes me very unhappy. I wanted it to be solid white. I mean it's called PURE WHITE. Why not make it pure?
Nintendo DS This color is just beutiful, it is the best loking Ds of all of them. It came a little late to me but play-asia did a good service.

AWESOME!!! I love white!! I dunno which one I want. I'm a female gamer and I still cannot decide which color suits me best. Its between pink or white.... NDS Der weiße NDS ist erste Sahne. Zwar hatte auch dieses Gerät einen Pixelfehler, sowie mein silbernes DS auch, aber das ist zu verschmerzen.
I WANT THIS!!! I plan on buying this in a few weeks, and have been staring at it on the computer for 4 months now! :D I want to buy nintendogs, zoo tycoon, and of COURSE, Animal crossing wild world for this baby! Even though I don't like pink this rocks! Just so you know the picture that play-asia has is different picture of candy pink. It's really more a lighter pink than hot pink. But it's so kick-ass compared to what we have America

don't think Nintendo can do better than what they have already done. SP was good but DS has a touch screen

Nintendo DS The Graphite DS is the best looking DS to me. Other colors are to bright, and just don't stand out like the Graphite Nintendo DS. No offense to any other color DS system.

Recognizing girl gamers At least Nintendo of Japan recognizes that girls do play video games. I don't understand why Nintendo of America consistently ignores the large number of female gamers by only offering ugly silver and blue. Not all of us want to play boring silver or blue colored consoles. I have the pink Japan version Gameboy SP and now I have this lovely pink Japan version DS. This is a more true pink color than the muted, pearlized pink color of the SP. If you like pink you will love this console.
Great product! My pink DS came in the mail today (I ordered it last Wednesday, so it took exactly a week to ship not bad considering I live on the East Coast of the US), and it's great! The color is more like a soft/pastel pink while in the picture it looks almost hot pink. It also came with a DS strap, and an extra white stylus pen! Even if the default language is set to Japanese, you can go into the settings and easilychange it to English.
btw, if you already own a GBA SP charger, it works fine with the DS (no need to buy a DS charger since it's exactly the same as the GBA SP).
Pink is ma fav home skillet! I love pink it is like one of ma fav colors!!! We only got blue and platinum here in USA and its B-O-R-I-N-G I love pink I am so going to get it!!!!

White is a winner! Got mine in 2 days in Canada.
Needless to say, this pure white DS is pure gorgeousness! I never knew it had a pearl-like lustre to the top shell...what a wonderful surprise! It costs a small amount more than a American DS (especially due to the recent price drop) but it's well, well worth buying if you really want a DS color as unique as the system itself! There are obviously ZERO problems in getting the system to read in english...just get by the initial setup screen...let the DS power off...turn back on and set the language to english. SIMPLE!
It's CWAAAAZZZYYYY! I can't believe how fun it is to play, just by using the touch screen adds a whole new depth to gameplay and interactivity. I personally think, right now, it's ahead of the PSP, in terms of innovation and the amount of AAA games available, but know for sure PSP will catch up. I think the two handhelds can remain side-by-side in the future, due to them having different appeals.
PS: the 'black DS' rocks! Will go nicely with my PSP, hehe.
Shipped to USA in 2 days for $30! I got it in 2 days and paid only $15 more total (including shipping) than I would have if I had bought it locally. No dead pixels, and I can use my standard GBA SP charger to overcome the fact that the charger expects Japanese voltage. I have a DS in a color not available in the US, and I couldn't be more satisfied.

Back In Black Silver is too standard. Electric Blue is too flashy. Candy Pink? For the ladies, sure. White? Doable. Turquoise? Not bad. But Black -- Graphite Black is where it's at if you're looking for the coolest looking DS.
Beutiful!!! This color is gorgeous!!! I've been waiting for a system that isn't metallic. Metallics are pretty but they are old to me. It's a very nice bright satin red, and it looks awsome with the black accents. (like the black background for the nintendo logo)

Colors Colors I chose the Pure White over the Graphitized Black because I thought the black DS looked a bit like a dictionary machine. I might be wrong (because I haven't seen the black DS in real life - only in pictures), but I'm very happy with the Pure White. Candy Pink also looks cute.
You'll love the pure white At first I thought other than the buttons itself, the whole pure white DS is in pearly white color, but the truth is that only the top half of the DS is in pearly white color and the bottom half of the DS is in matted ceramic white color. But don't let this change your mind, because this color is really unique and having a matted bottom makes holding the DS more smoothly. The white stylus is also in regular matted white color (it would be perfect if it's in pearly white though).
Overall, I loved it and wanted to buy another one - this color is amazingly beautiful!! The pure white DS looks really good for a girl and it can look pretty cool for a guy.

Pink DS This onsole looks in real life much brihter than on these pictures. Nevertheless, it is a Nintendo masterpiece, has absolutely no flaws. And you have white Styluses, one more thing to impress your friends who bought the "ordinary" version. ;-)

DS Pure White I love my DS. The week and two days I had to wait for it were hard, but worth it. Thank you Play-Asia.com for my beautiful white DS.
This is a great piece of hardware ! Stylish, sleek and att a very attractive price. Excellent touch screen and built in wi-fi support are the highlights of this new console. Though the selection of A++ titles right now is pretty weak, improvements in that area are right around the corner. Nintendo alone are working on 30+ titles and third-party support is very strong for the DS. Animal Crossing DS, Viewtiful Joe Scratch! & Mario Kart DS can not come soon enough!

No title At first I was afraid that dirt and marks would be easily visible on a white console. None of that has ever happened. After at least 20 hours of gameplay, the DS remains white, and looks as pretty as ever.
And I don't see anything wrong with the look of the DS itself. It might look big and awful, but once you have it in your hands it's a whole different thing.

Great! I had my DS since its release date, and have loved it ever since. If you have not purchased a DS yet, now is the time to do it, as many anticipated games are now being released. The only thing I can say is if possible, buy a different color than this one! That way, people will not only be impressed that you have a DS, but they will also be impressed that your DS is so unique.

THE BEST! I've played a PSP and heard from many people that it's really expensive to get the best out of one. I'm not saying PSP is rubbish, only that Nintendo DS is 10X BETTER! this system absolutely rocks, and I personally think it's gonna run PSP 6 feet into the ground. Especially since PSP is coming out in September in the UK. I've only had my DS for about 2 months now but I love it!

Move over psp, ds is in town! The ds is far more innovative than the psp. Sure movies and music are great in your hand, but when it comes to fun, the ds is the best. I have mario and metroid for ds, and it totally boots anything on psp, and even gc!Has anyone seen the Need for speed screenshots? When shigsy said graphics would improve, he meant AS GOOD AS PSP.

Awesome! it was the look of the DS which originally put me off buying one, but the pure white version instantly grabbed my attention. it looks so much better than the silver version and of course you will look so much cooler than evryone else as this version is not going to be common in the UK. the best just got a whole lot sleeker!!! great color This DS has a great color..i thought that it would be flat white but it turned out to be pearl white, no big deal it looks just as awesome. now im probably the only guy i know who has a white DS ;) cant wait for jump allstars!!!

Best Handheld ever! I have to say, if you're not considering getting a DS, you can't be a gamer at all. This piece of kit is a must-have by every gamer. PSP is all fair and good, but the DS is original, fun, and Wario Ware rocks on it!
Nintendo Ds Received my DS four days ago (thanks to Play-asia for shipping in 4 days!!), and I haven't put it down yet. It may not have the best graphics in the world, but who cares when they play this good!!! The Ds's touchpad and dual screen make for wonderfully invented games, far more inspired than the boring PSP playstation 2 ports. Long live the DS!!!
DS is nice Its a nice system. Worth buying. I bought mine from play-asia.com - paying the custums fee was the worst part of it all, though its still worth buying because the DS is somthing new, somthing different and fresh to the scene.
DS has alot of potential, and it would be nice to see the DS go the distance like the Nes and Super Nintendo did.

DS Flying High At first didnt like the look of the DS but once u hold it in ur hands u'll suddenly fall in luv with it! It's solid handheld with unique features only Nintendo can come up with. Unfourtanetly i haven´t played any DS Games yet, but Gba games look amazing and the TFT Screen is very sharp and clear. Nevertherless i´m going to buy PSP because the graphic is much better than the Nintendo DS. Anyone who has seen the PSP Games in action would agree with me, but i like the Nintendo DS, too.

Sehr Gut Der Nintendo DS strotzt nur so vor Innovation. Man hat so viele Möglichkeiten mit dem Touchscreen und den zwei Bildschirmen, dass sich der psp schwer tun wird das zu toppen. Der DS ist solide verarbeitet, obwohl der ober Bildschirm ein bisschen wackelt, wenn man das Gerät ein schnell hin und her bewegt. was aber nicht wirklich schlimm ist. Die Grafik kommt leider nicht an den psp heran, denoch der Sound besser ist (steht in vielen Computerzeitschriften und Internetseiten) wo ich nur zustimmen kann
Fazit: eine sehr gute spielekonsole mit guter Grafik und hervorragenden Sound.

DS is fun. Just got my DS yesterday and it is great. I usually hate hand-helds and have never been able to 'get into' the game on one until this one. I always thought it was because of the screen but now I believe its because other hand-helds just couldnt do 3D graphics, the DS is great and I'm sure I'll be playing it a lot in my free time.

Got a bit expensive as it is just released worldwide and limited pieces reaching India through grey channels. However, I love the colours, screen clarity, voice, feel, looks...all great. Chatting I don't know howm much can be used at home?I wish they could have included Web Access capability with an explorer !Still, its another world you may fall in love with.

Ignore that PSP comment The PSP has 2 hours battery time on Ridge Racer and has relatively few games announced in comparison to the DS. Awesome graphics, nifty touch screen buy it!
Nintendo DS Great device. Since it's backward compatible with GBA, that makes Nintendo DS's games library huge and cover plenty of each games genre. Affordable price plus the extra features like Dual Screen (also Dual ARM Processor) and Touch Screen, not forgetting WiFi support, Nintendo DS is really a great device!!!
Smiling Lots I am very happy with my Nintendo DS. The touch screen is simply excellent, I like using the Stylus in Pictochat (havent got any DS games yet) although I have tried some GBA games and the screen is even more brighter and clearer than the SP! There is no delay on the touch screen (like you sometimes get on PDAs and LCDs) and it'll keep up with your movements no problem. 5 stars to Nintendo for exceeding my expectations and also to Play Asia for delivery in 4 days from US to UK!! I couldnt have asked for more.

Smiling Lots Nintendo have gone beyond my expectations and have produced a superb handheld. I felt myself grinning with joy as i used the Stylus for the first time in Pictochat, (after changing the language and finding out where the heck i was that is) It definitely has the WOW factor. Not played any DS games on it yet but played GBA ones on top screen. The thumb strap takes some getting used to but its a good idea. The Stylus is great fun, i received 2, one slotted into the back. Play Asia have given me supreme service, ordered it Sunday morning, received today, Wednesday morning. 4 days from US to UK! I couldnt ask for better service. Thumbs up PlayAsia and Nintendo, way up :)

Great System I got mine within 5 days with TNT[and there was a weekend between shipment and delivery!], really fast and not that expensive.
It'S a great System, battery life is wonderfull[I played 6 hours M64DS and 7 hours GBA with ONE charge!] and the graphics are nice as well.
The touchscreen is wonderfull, really durable simply not scratchable with the stylus or your finger[not that sure about sharp objects though ;)]. the Screen is highly responsible and pretty fast, realtime if you ask me. I saw PDAs with slow touchscreens but I never saw a system with a that fast reaction rate, if you loose one of those 36 minigames in m64, it's allways your fault not the one of the touchscreen :)
Innovation! DS is a superb piece of innovative hardware which i hope the UK gamers will welcome with open arms as much as the Japanese and United States market. It's so easy to pick up and play and overall it's just wonderful. With superb games like Feel The Magic, Super Mario 64 DS, Wario Ware Inc DS, Metroid Prime: First Hunt, Yoshi's Touch and Go and LOADS more either out or coming soon, The use of the touch screen is being used to it's full potential in most games which is great news!
Overall it's great that the DS is here for the gaming market! It's a superb Niche product, i have one so, so should you!

Not as good as it seems even though the touch screen may seem interesting, it requires the user to touch it...meaning taking one of ur hand busy button pressing hand and touching it...this will probally slow u down, get u killed or something within that range, since u have to stop one of ur hand and press the screen...>.

NINTENDO DS JAP + US Mario Just got my ds today, major hats off to play asia on an almost inhumany fast delivery, the console itself is a good size and the touch screen seems to be most responsive, setup was pretty straightforward and changing the language was easy enough, its a little strange at first getting used to using the touch screen to move but you are able to adjust fairly quickly all in all well worth a look though
DS Screen, Graphics and Sound Got my DS, and the screen quality is superb, graphics on the Metroid Demo are really wicked with superb gameplay, and the sound, ooooooooo the sound is blindingly good.

you have been misled... The Nintendo DS may well be amazing, and I truly believe it will be. However, SEBBLE, the N5 will not disintegrate all xbox's... it is a sad thing that you think this will happen. Deep down you know it is impossible. You just haven't realised it yet.
Nintendo will be king of handheld console, but Microsoft presently has the best living room console. To compare a next-gen console such as the N5 to the present gen xbox is just stupid. When they have been released, compare the N5 to the xbox2. Then cry.
