DS White
Although in the picture it looks like its truly pure white, I'd have to rate it more of an ivory white. Its got the meshy short of thing like the silver DS, but its much nicer as the back is a ceramic white as are the buttons. There is a bit of a problem in the fact that if it stains, it shows. The cushions on the back need most attention. I got mine slightly stained red, cuz i was using one of those nitrogen cleaner cans to blow out the dust, and i sprayed it onto a red cloth i was using to wipe the DS, but the color went onto the cushion. You can remove the battery cover side and put it in bleach for 3 or 4 days and it should look good as new... as for the other one... uhm... you're on your on... =P

i had a blue one but traded it in 4 a white one it wasnt super white but it was pretty cool i have 2 admit it even had a white back and white buttons that was prpbably the coolest thing about it!!!

White DS Rocks!
I just sold my silver DS for this white one and let me tell you something - it looks amazing. I was very weary at first and not sure weather i'd like it or not since i'd never seen in "in the flesh" but I just got mine this morning and it was worth every penny! It looks absolutely fantastic! If you're not sure, I'd say buy it!

The ds is sweet
It's rare, it's new, it's all the same but a different color, and a better one at that! One can simply not dislike this system, especially with the Ping Pals game!!!

Aside from Pokemon Myuu
the only version with different colored buttons/d-pad. I'm getting it.

White was dissappointing
The DS gets a 5 star rating but the color gets a 2. It's got that sparkle flaking that the Platinum does. The problem is that the flake makes it look almost like the platinum. Makes me very unhappy. I wanted it to be solid white. I mean it's called PURE WHITE. Why not make it pure?

I love white!! I dunno which one I want. I'm a female gamer and I still cannot decide which color suits me best. Its between pink or white.... I have no clue which one I will get I guess I'll have to see!! AWESOME rock on!! North America needs to get some of these colors, I was wondering if the box will have japanese writing or english???? I dunno probably english. Cannot wait to get my NDS!

Der weiße NDS ist erste Sahne. Zwar hatte auch dieses Gerät einen Pixelfehler, sowie mein silbernes DS auch, aber das ist zu verschmerzen.

Got mine in 2 days in Canada.

Needless to say, this pure white DS is pure gorgeousness! I never knew it had a pearl-like lustre to the top shell...what a wonderful surprise! It costs a small amount more than a American DS (especially due to the recent price drop) but it's well, well worth buying if you really want a DS color as unique as the system itself! There are obviously ZERO problems in getting the system to read in english...just get by the initial setup screen...let the DS power off...turn back on and set the language to english. SIMPLE!

You'll love the pure white
At first I thought other than the buttons itself, the whole pure white DS is in pearly white color, but the truth is that only the top half of the DS is in pearly white color and the bottom half of the DS is in matted ceramic white color. But don't let this change your mind, because this color is really unique and having a matted bottom makes holding the DS more smoothly. The white stylus is also in regular matted white color (it would be perfect if it's in pearly white though).
Overall, I loved it and wanted to buy another one - this color is amazingly beautiful!! The pure white DS looks really good for a girl and it can look pretty cool for a guy.

At first I was afraid that dirt and marks would be easily visible on a white console. None of that has ever happened. After at least 20 hours of gameplay, the DS remains white, and looks as pretty as ever.

And I don't see anything wrong with the look of the DS itself. It might look big and awful, but once you have it in your hands it's a whole different thing.

i thingk the graphite black version looks as the best. as usually with dark games like metroid prime huunters. i'll also buy the white one, to play with my little brother.
nintendo ds is at time the best console in world. nintendo understand it, what it means to put some innovation on a console. thank you nintendo!

it was the look of the DS which originally put me off buying one, but the pure white version instantly grabbed my attention. it looks so much better than the silver version and of course you will look so much cooler than evryone else as this version is not going to be common in the UK. the best just got a whole lot sleeker!!! ('',)

great color
This DS has a great color..i thought that it would be flat white but it turned out to be pearl white, no big deal it looks just as awesome. now im probably the only guy i know who has a white DS ;) cant wait for jump allstars!!!
