Mario & Luigi RPG is the 3rd installment of the popular Mario RPG series. This time Mario's all-time rival Bowser will become your companion! The story begins in Princess Peach's castle, one day a mysterious witch Kikimona came to the castle, attacked the princess and stole her beautiful voice. Now princess's voice is replaced by sounds of exploding bombs.
After learning the news, both Mario and Luigi (who was dragged out by Mario) came to the castle and offered to help Princess to go after the witch. At the same time Bowser also arrived to the castle and offered to help Mario. Bowser will bring along an airship, which enables Mario to fly to various places. It seems like Luigi is unwilling to battle, he tried to escape from Bowser's airship, but was caught back and force to fight alongside with Mario, it is uncertain how this will affect the story.
