A must for Druaga anime fans I didn't think I would have given the show, The Tower of Druaga, much of a chance if it didn't have that crazy intro and the playfully upbeat Swinging to accompany it. It's guitar-driven, trumpet popping and drumline being hit fast and with a purpose. The lighter parts are reminiscent of Ska, giving the piece a party vibe. Swinging is definitely the song you're getting this single for.
Chocolate Shake sounds like a lighter version of Swinging. Not necessarily bad, but it really doesn't have the same punch.
The third song is Kimiboku, different from the stylish Swinging and Choco. Shake, it feels more like an ending theme song. The trumpet notes are longer, the drums are still fast but not as pronounced and there is a heavier use of bass guitar. As a change from the near flatness of the other two songs, the lead vocal is allowed to show off more range here, which is quite nice.
Overall, a nice single. And for the Druaga fans, the spine card is extended to a full color glossy back cover featuring Jil and his party.
