風林火山
Ahh, I love this album.
Okay, so Daisuke Ishiwatari is probably most famous in people's minds for coming up with the Guilty Gear games, particularly the much-beloved music from them. But all good things must come to an end, and the Guilty Gear series fell out of his hands. Flash forward to 2008, and we get a sort of successor to the throne - BlazBlue: Calamity Trigger. And once again, Daisuke Ishiwatari is writing the music. And once again, it's awesome. So naturally, it earned a sequel, and a soundtrack release.
So now we come to this disc. It's a disc of extra songs not included in the soundtrack to BlazBlue. These include special instrumental tracks for when specific characters fight against each other - Ragna vs. Hazama, for instance - as well as a few themes for characters new to Continuum Shift. They're all great, as you'd expect from Ishiwatari. The real meat of the album, though, comes in the vocal tracks.
Now, your personal opinions might vary, but I absolutely LOVE 烈風 (Gale). It's the character theme of Bang Shishigami from the game, but now the character's voice actor has been called in to sing lyrics to it! And, predictably, they're all completely over the top and cast him as a heroic figure fighting for love and justice. Wonderful stuff here.
The rest aren't anything to scoff at either. We get several of the ladies of the franchise singing to the accompaniment of their own themes as well. Litchi, Rachel, Tsubaki, and Noel all get the treatment, though I feel obligated to note that Taokaka wasn't as lucky. Oh well. They're all nice songs as well, fitting the moods and motivations of each of these ladies.
Ultimately, if you're a fan of Daisuke Ishiwatari's work, or a fan of BlazBlue, you cannot go wrong with this album. Heck, even if you're not, it's probably worth looking into.

Blazing Blues
These are some of the greatest music I've ever heard from a fighting game other then GGX. To me it wasn't just about any old game songs, it was more then that. These songs spoke out to me. Each character's theme matched them so well which made the game ever so much more enjoyable. I am happy with this purchase that I made, even though this Soundtrack isn't as long as the first CD. It was still worth it. If you are a Blazblue lover like myself this should be a must have for you.

More than just for the collection
As others may have said, the album is great, but shy of perfect.
The album is a decent length for what it's supposed to introduce - a few new character songs for Continuum Shift, some vocals for existing (and new) character songs, and lastly, some tracks for obscure purposes.
The new pieces are, for the most part, amazing, as to be expected out of Ishiwatari. As many know him for, I also have come to know Ishiwatari for his excellently thought out rock compositions, so I find "Continuum Shift", "Cry Camellia", "Oriental Flower", "Queen of Rose", "Gluttony Fang", Condemnation Wings", "Nightmare Fiction", "Memory of Tears", and "Endless Despair" my favorites. Most of the album, I know.
Honestly, if you're familiar with Daisuke Ishiwatari's work, and enjoy it, follow your gut and give Song Accord a chance. If you're playing Continuum Shift later this month (for us State-side residents), you'll be hearing a bunch of these tracks anyways.
