It has been 10 months since Tokio released their last single. This time, collaborating with the uniquely talented singer and song writer Shiina Ringo (who leads her own band as well), Tokio released their first single after coming under J-Storm (where Arashi belongs to as well). The song Amagasa has a strong beat that goes with the “power pop” image of the boy band.
Both songs in the single are themes for T.V programs. The title track Amagasa comes from the drama Yasuko to Kenji while Akireru Kurai Bokura Wa Negao is the ending song of Mentre G, a gourmet program Tokio hosts.
The first limited edition of this single carries video clips of the making of Amagasa while the 2nd limited edition comes with a video clip of Akireru Kurai Bokura Wa Negao and a clip of Tokio members talking about the song.
