As the 12th single of Uverworld and the newest opening theme of Gundam 00 Second Season, Hakanaku Mo Eikyu No Kanashi is a song about love, performed in rock style, which the group excels in.
The group wants to bring out the message that love is something which people both seek to understand and reject due to its intensity and weightiness. When people refuse to communicate, love would turn into hate and it's only through trust that people would realize this love.
The love in this song refers to more than romance, it include the emotions between parent and child and the compassion between humans. This message is particularly suitable for Gundam 00 which both portrays the misunderstanding between people and parodies reality so well.
In this twisted world which gives birth to sadness and hate, the song points us to the direction of fleeting love. The single is being released in 3 versions, a Gundam 00 version, a CD+DVD limited edition and a normal edition.
