Soft Japanese Rap...Awesome I agree with the previous reviewed that Japanese wordings, in rap, sounds much softer than English. Just like He/She, I LOVED...absolutely LOVED and am VERY MUCH OBSESSED with the Song Thank You!! The lyrics itself is so touching, makes me teary eyed sometimes. The rap is soft, the blend of one strong and the other softer deeper voice is harmonious, as opposed to dominated by just one particular vocals.
I just received this CD in my office, and immediately skipped to track 2, to see how Home Sweet Home sounds like....this tune is more....sexy if I can say that... it makes you want to move your body, move your hip and sing along (tho I must say..I don't THINK I can keep up with Japanese Rap, so might as well not attempt...hahah)
I haven't had a chance to find the lyrics yet, so I can't comment on the song's meaning.
Note
(i) although Thank you!! was the 2nd Bleach ending theme, I'm not certain as to whether Home Sweet Home is also a Bleach ending theme. In Malaysia, we're only up till episodes 98 for DVD collection.
(ii) It gets 4 as opposed to 5 stars because of the price. There are only two songs in it, and for me, USD 9.90 is a bit expensive for just two songs.
Otherwise...it woulda been five stars.
Funny.....whilst typing this review I've already listened to the song TWICE....hahah.

Such flair! I discovered Home Made Kazoku after they did Thank You!! as the second ending theme for Bleach. I LOVED that song, and I was eager to listen to more of their music. They quickly became one of my favorite J-Rock groups (possibly even my favorite!). They're a lovely blend of melodious rap, hip-hop, and funk, with a Japanese flair. I've found that the Japanese language sounds so much lovelier rapped than does English; it just flows so beautifully and is so melodious and rich.
I'm sure that if you listen to Home Made Kazoku, you won't be disappointed. Thank You and Shounen Heart (the 2nd opening for Eureka Seven) are my two favorite songs EVER. Check those two out if you want to hear HMKU at their best. I can't rave about HMKU enough!
