description
The story began in Midgar, city of mako, where a corporate superpower known as Shinra used its monopoly of mako energy to dominate all aspects of life, securing political power in the process. Shinras mako reactors dotted in the city, harvesting the energy and converting it to a viable source of power.
However, mako energy was not the wellspring of happiness Shinra claimed it to be, but rather the vitality of the planet itself, the source of all life. Some began to realize: If we let this continue, the planet will die. These individuals set up an anti-Shina organization called Avalanche, and began resistance efforts using guerilla tactics.
Finally, Avalanche decided to blow up one of the mako reactors. Among the members chosen for the mission was Cloud Strife, a former member of Shinras elite guard, SOLDIER.
Cloud showed no emotion and was bound by no principles; he was an ex-SOLDIER and a merc, and there was nothing more to be said. The reactor strike awoke in Cloud the need to confront the holes in his past and his very reasons for being. And that journey, perhaps took the heaviest toll...
Two years have passed...
Though Midgar, city of mako, city of prosperity, has been reduced to ruins, the people slowly but steadily walk the road to reconstruction.
However, a mysterious illness called geostigma torments them.
With no cure in sight, it brings death to the afflicted, one after another, robbing the people of their fledgling hope.
And so Cloud, who walked away from the life of a hero to live in solitude, must step forward yet again.

A little something new Technically speaking, there's not much difference between the old Advent Children and the Complete one. Of course there are new or modified scenes but the main plot still remains the same. If you're a hardcore FFVII lover, then of course, this is a must get in order to complete your collection! If you are not, it's ok that you stick with the old one. And if you've never even seen or owned this, BUY IT!!! It's downright awesome! All hail Nomura Tetsuya! xD
A great piece for FF Fanz or non FF fanz i'm a FF fanz,so i already bought 3 version of this FF7AC.The reason i bought this because of its english subtitle. Its awesome that SE add in many new scene. For those whose not watch yet, should buy this for a watch. Those add in scene will make the story more "complete".

Bought for the Demo Like many diehard FF fans, I bought this title just for the FF13 demo, and I didn't regret it. Although if it weren't for the demo I wouldn't pick up this Bluray disc for THIS price. Now that FF13 is out, the value of this disc isn't as high now as it usually was, unless there are collectors or completists out there who want this title badly.

so detailed~! so sexy! i LOVE the graphics. seriously. and they changed some things here and there, like added a thing or two, changed the music etc. much better i think.
as for the demo, it was a great preview for FFXIII, and now that i have XIII i can say it is different from the real thing but it gets you a basic feel for the system. the trailers are cool too, Noctis is smexy.
