Lucia,Mermaid princess of the Pacific Ocean,has gone to land in order to retrieve her Pink pearl that was given to a young boy in a tragic accident at sea. After 7 years Lucia is reunited with this boy,Kaito, and with the power of her pearl she realizes the Mermaid Princess Power.
With the power of the Pearl Lucia can turn into a singing idol and battle off villains. Lucia meets other mermaid princesses that have left their mermaid country due to their destruction such as the perky,pretty and cute Hanon Hoshou. Hanon Hoshou is introduced in episode:1 and is the holder of the Mizuiro Pearl.
The third main heroine is Rina Touin, holder of the Green pearl.
These three heroines must battle evil through the power of song and reunite all 7 mermaid princesses and their Pearls for the resurrection of the goddess:Aqua Rejina.
Once they resurrect Aqua Rejina they will be able to rid of the ancient evil that threatened the sea long ago and sealed by the sea Goddess Aqua Rejina. However, Lucia has fallen in love with the boy from her childhood and if she confesses she is a mermaid she will die and turn into bubbles. Kaito is in love with the mermaid Lucia, and the only way he can be with Lucia is if he realizes for himself that she is that mermaid.
Will Lucia, Hanon, and Rina succeed in their mission? Will Kaito realize Lucia is the mermaid he is in love with? Will Hanon end up with Tarou-sensei, her music teacher?
