Brilliant case, much better than anything i can find on the high street I love this case,
It's the right size to hold a ds lite snugly, yet still leaving room so that it can also hold a ds lite in a hard shell. The interior is soft preventing it scratching the console with a soft flap guarding the top of the ds lite from the acessories being held in the lid.
When putting games in it, put two in each pocket. when only one is in a pocket it can fall out quite easily.
i hold 6 in the pockets.
The case can hold 6 DS games, 1 GBA game, spare stylus and a cleaning cloth no problem.
or
8 DS games (2 in back pocket, 6 in the 3 netted pockets) spare stylus cleaning cloth and a usb charger.
Best case i've found for the DS, i'd well recommend the purchase.

One of the best DS cases this case is simplay perfect.
the ds lite fits in perfectly so theres no more worries about scratches anymore.
plus you can store an extra stylus along with 3 game cartridges.
if you take your ds on the road, this is the best accessory you can get, and the best thing is the cheap price !

Games drop out Previously mentioned that the game pockets are not elastic or tight and the games keep sliding out especially when the DS is not inside the pouch.
2 days ago I was at the park and true enough one of my games dropped out of the pouch when I was putting my DS back into the pouch. Noticed that a game was missing when I got back home and returned to the park the next day to search for my game. Good thing i found it but I'll never ever use it to store games anymore.
Hori DS lite pouch agreed with the previous poster, it's a bit big, but it does provide a lot of room to store games on the top flap. if you constantly keep a GBA game in your DS, then you'll have to take it out if you wanna put your DS into this case. overall, it's quite hard and protective

Great case! I think that this case is awesome; I also use the soft jacket silicon case and it fits in the hard pouch perfectly. Very fast shipping as well!!!

Strong and sturdy, but not a snug fit and no inner straps On the outside, a nice looking, strong, firm case. On the inside it has one full width pocket which can hold multiple game cards / GBA carts, a nice soft inner fabric, but unfortunately the DS lite does not fit as snugly as it could. It also does not have elastic straps on the inside.
As a comparison with the Compact Pouch, this one has softer material on the inside, but both the DS lite and the game cards could move around inside.
Still much better than any of the pouches found in any of the local games shops.
One of the best pouch you can get for your DS Lite A reasonably priced pouch made of sturdy and lightweight quality materials. Other features are more or less the same as the other DS lite pouches where they all come with compartments for you to fit in your DS/GBA carts and your stylus. An overall good purchase if your are not looking for anything fancy.
I like it A very good choice to protect your DS Lite.
Altough it may not be padded enough to give maximum protection against bigger shocks, it is durable enough to keep your DS safe from accidental drops or in your backpack etc.
I also like the extra mesh pockets for DS games and the spare stylus holder. The bigger pocket is handy if you have other small accessories or GBA games.
The case surface is smooth and easy to care, while the interior is soft and has a divider to avoid scratches from accessories.
Only thing I miss is a belt srap/hook for easier transportation as it can be a little bulky. But there are alternatives available if it's an important feature.
But overall, I recommend it. Now I can take my DS everywhere without worries of damaging it.
I'd also like to thank Play-Asia for the very fast delivery. It shipped all the way to Finland in a week.
No title This semi-hard case gives overall great protection for the DS Lite. Hori uses a very good material on the exterior that can be easily cleaned, and honestly, it rarely gets dirty.
At this price, this is the best deal can get. It's one of my favourite accessories~

Just the ticket!!! I went onto another games website to ask what they recommended to carry my DS Lite. A lot of folks mentioned this Hori hardcase, and a few even mentioned ordering from Play-Asia. Well, I'm glad I took their advice. This is the best case I have ever used for any handheld system. I carry a lot of gaming systems in my backpack, which is quite small. This Hori hardcase, takes up very little space, is much smaller than other cases I've used, and carries more things! How can you beat that?
Three DS Lite cards easily slip into the little pockets especially made for them. To the person who asked, you can fit about 2,maybe 3 GBA cart games, but it would be kind of tight for 3. I also keep a pair of ear buds (the Sony ones for the PSP) in the case, to listen to my game when playing. So all together, DS Lite, headphones, 3 DS cards, and 1 GBA card, all fit very well in the case when zippered shut. I was truly amazed at how compact, yet how efficient the space is used.
I highly recommend this product based on: price; comfort, service (from Play-Asia) and efficiency of space!
Just as sexy as those leather pouches, but without the worry Hori comes at you again with another quality accessory for your DS Lite. The slim, compact design allows a snug (read: safe) fit for your DSL as well as 3 games and an additional pocket (I use mine to store the cleaning cloth) as well. While some people want a pouch that matches in color to their DSL, all the colors are vibrant and outstanding. This is easily just as sexy as the leather pouches out there for the DSL, but with a hard exterior protecting the Hori unit, your worries of something getting crushed or breaking if dropped should be alleviated. I'm definitely a proponent of balance between form and function, and this sleek unit fills the gap nicely.
Re-Review It's very tough on the outside, good for protecting the Lite in a backpack, not good for dropping your Lite off a third story balcony. It's tough but NOT shock-absorbant like I originally expected it to be. It's still very sleek & well crafted, it's made of high quality material as-well. It isn't very padded on the inside, it is but not very much, it has a soft divider between sides that won't scratch the top of the lite & protects the top of the Lite from the games on the other-side. It's designed so you have your DS Lite on one side & the other has a pcket where you can put GBA games or a Hori cleaning cloth, on the pocket it has a DS Lite stylus holder sown onto it & a little mesh thing to hold a MINIMUM of 3 DS games or if you cram 6. That's pretty much it. Overall it's a great buy, I also have the Hori Multi-Pouch I prefer this because it protects my lite from dings in my backpack.

- oustide and inside surface texture is quite nice to hold/touch. does not leave any scratches on the outer surface.

- a bit bulky. cannot fit in pockets of pants unless you wear cargo pants or very loose pants
- leaves finger marks (very faint) on the outer surface
- should have provided a holding strap on the DS side in case you accidently open the wrong side
- why are there 2 zipper tags? i think one is enough
- price is just right

Loose pockets my games keep slipping out of the pockets because they are not elastic or tight, you might end up loosing games because they can drop out ....
Not what I expected I thought it was a sturdy shock absorbant case, this ISN'T but it is a nice case. I also own the Multi-Pouch I like it alittle more, but this case is still awesome, especially in a backpack, it won't clank your DS around & ding it up.

Hard Pouch DS Lite (black) Fantastic hard case for the DS Lite. Fits the DS Lite perfectly with enough room to store a few DS/GBA games, cleaning cloth, headphones, etc. Highly recommended.
For what is does, its perfect. I was browsing around trying to find a nice small sturdy case, I saw this one. I wanted a small case that only held the system, but this is the best I could find. What it does is hold the DSlite (nice fit!), a stylus and 3 DS games. If that is what you want from a case get this one, It is perfect.

Best Incredible product, and for roughly $10 it was a steal. The overall quality of this case is just what you would expect from Hori. The inside padding isn't "fluffy" as some other cases, but it still protects your DS Lite comfortably. The case is slightly bigger than I expected, but it does fit into my pockets which is all I could ask for.
Inside the pouch there's three pockets which I found could hold 3 DS games in each. There's also a small area behind that to hold misc. items, such as a cleaning cloth or headphones maybe. Under the netting for games there's a slot for an extra stylus, and some extra protection so the items above don't make contact with the actual DS system.
Overall this is a beautiful case at a wonderful price - couldn't expect more from Hori. I also must thank Play-Asia for the great shipping (as always).

It is what it is It's a hard pouch, sturdy exterior. Looks nice. I prefer this over the soft pouches.
as for the misc info: the inside is black (I was hoping it was white). It has no carry strap. Padding inside the pouch isn't the fluffy/soft type

Great product This is a great product. A big difference with cheap cases you will find in most stores. Nice design that fits the ds lite very well. There's storage for three ds games. Low price for a wonderful product!
No title Nice, sturdy pouch. Has fitted pouches that can easily hold three DS games (more if you feel like cramming them in), as well as one for an extra stylus. Can fit a couple of GBA games in the larger pocket, or headphones. Definitely happy with it. ^^

Quality I have long heard of Hori's legendary quality and this case definitely lives up to it. It's comparable to the Compact Pouch with a few key differences: the outer shell has tougher padding, making the case slightly larger but noticeably sturdier. The inside is black, and has three equally sized mesh slots for games (you can fit 2 in each) as well as a larger pouch behind them for...whatever fits, and a slot for a spare stylus.
It was actually larger than I expected at first. It's about the size of 1 and a half DS Lites stacked on top of each other. However, I still find that it easily fits into my pocket, which was all I could ask for. (I don't wear tight jeans). The only drawback is that it has no room for the charger, but since I intended this case to be a casual, "around town" deal, that point is moot. However, to those looking for a more spacious option, look into the Hori Multi Pouch.
All in all this is a great product. I would feel safe dropping this 5 feet onto concrete if that says anything. (Not that I'd want that to happen). And for just under $10, it would be a crime to let your DS Lite go unprotected. Do yourself a favor and get a Hori.
