Boom Fail putting them on a few tries, dont bother anymore, gets worse everytime. It's supposed to protect my screen but it makes it look so uglier with all the bubbles I can't stand it.
DS screen is not open air like GBA anyway.
I got it seeing all the good reviews; now im just using the cleaning cloth that comes with it. Make the screens liquid crystal in the first place Nintendo !
Dissappointing product

Awesome product! I'm using these protectors for a few days now, and I'm really impressed. Concerning other protectors you often hear complaints about the installation, the glue or decreases in screen brightness.
These little babies from Hori are easy to install, have good glue and the screen's brightness is still 100%. It might be just my imagination, but I think the vision seems to be slightly clearer now that the filters are installed.
The installation of the touchscreen filter was no problem, the installation for the upper screen one was a bit tricky. I still have some (very, very small) bubbles there, but they're at the border of the filter, where the black frame of the screen is. Let me notice that I used four or five attempts to install the upper screen protector and this thing glued as good on the screen as in the first try.
The stylus feeling on the filter ist almost exactly the same as without any filter, if you'd ask me. Great filters, absolutely recommendable!

Very good protector, damn installation It was unpossible to me, to install that protector on my DS without any dust -_- And the more you're trying, the more dust will appear. So, be satisfied with your first try, otherwise it will become more worse...

One more thing... I forgot to mention one thing, however. For the rest of my review, please see below.
It does seem to be thicker than other protectors I've used. What this means is that you have to press a little harder on the screen than you may be used to and you may feel a slight drag (it actually feels soft, if you get my meaning) when moving the stylus across the screen as well.
This really shouldn't hurt gameplay at all and you should soon be used to it.
Again, it's the best protector out there - hands down.

Wow Previously, I had some cheap protector I got a Game Crazy for like $2. I ordered these knowing of Hori's great reputation and all the great reviews.
First off, it's just SO much better than any other protector I've ever seen for any system. So far, I've seen no scratches at all from any stylus I've used (standard Nintendo one and the "Stretch Touch Pen"). The blemishes that appeared to be scratches simply wiped off.
Of course, just like all others, it's a pain to apply correctly. Air bubbles are about nonexistant, though, which is more than I can say for others I've used. Just try your best to be in a room with little debris in the air and you should be fine. Once you get it one, though, it's worth the trouble.
