Great Turn Based Tactical RPG
This is a well made game, the graphics are great, the gameplay is addictive. The story is a very inventive idea. I have put a long time into this game, and it doesnt lose its ability to be enjoyable.
If you dont have it already, I recommend its purchase as it is one of the best games on the psp.

Solid Strategy RPG
This game doesn't really push the envelope in terms of its game system but fans of SRPG's will feel at home with the title. I have spent around 20 hours playing this game so far and its easy to recommend to fans of the genre and anyone else who wants to get their feet wet.
Recommended.

Solid strategy RPG. Worth a look.
Gameplay is refreshing and controls are easy to pick up. Animated cut scene is a nice touch. You can choose to "grind" your characters into unstoppable killing machines, or just play through the storyline for added challenge. Voice acting ccould be better, however.

Boring...
Stage designs are great but other then that it's pretty bad.
Story and characters were aright part way then I just stopped caring.
AI holds back in battle (why bother having a entire map spell only to start using it when your 5 tiles in front of them!?).

Jean's Dark is the best game for PSP SRPG.
Stroy rength is enough, and execution is high.
And English is not hard, so no using English nation people also easily approachable game.

A good SRPG! Perfect for people who are new to this subgenre as it is friendly to beginners, but doesn't alienate the fans of the genre. Interesting take on the French historic heroine, and a must buy for SRPG fans!

if you like "tactics" style RPG or strategy games, then i would highly recommend Jeanne D'Arc. just for the length of the game alone, it's a great value. the story has lots of twists, and several major characters have some well-written arcs with surprising depth. the cel-animated portions of the story bring out the characters a little more, but even the cutscenes rendered with the game engine are beautiful and full of character. in fact, the engine does a great job with the battlefields, characters and environments. if you've played this type of game before, you won't find anything particularly new or surprising about the gameplay. there are a few branches to the story and some extra play modes that give plenty of replay value after the main story ends. if you haven't played many strategy RPGs before, this game is a very forgiving primer to the genre.

This game was great. It's a simple turn based strategy game, much like "Fire Emblem" for Nintendo. It has exceptional graphics and is enjoyable. The story is well thought-out too, since it is a fictional scenario of Joan of Arc: If Joan of Arc was not killed by the English, what would have happened? Great fantasy strategy RPG.

One of the nice features of this game is the ability to transform for certain characters. You'll gain special abilities and boost to your stats. You also have different kind of units with different weapons e.g. sword, spears, magic, etc.
