Field Commander™ is the first military turn-based strategy game for PSP and the only title that offers engaging, challenging skill based warfare in a realistic military setting. You play as a Field Commander working for an independent organization established by the Allied Nations to defend the world against an evil terrorist organization bent on inciting wars, illicit arms deals and global domination.
Command the land, skies and sea. Orchestrate an offensive attack through 30 unique missions, each one coming alive in beautiful 3D environments with highly-detailed terrain and dynamic visual effects. With an arsenal of 15 army divisions and 11 commanding officers to choose from, the power is yours to outwit the enemy at every turn.

Great Strategic Wargame
For those that loves strategic wargame but cannot react fast enough to RTS games, this turn-based game is a heaven-sent. Very strategic in nature and you have to have good planning to win the AI.

A good game!
Field commander is a good game. Good graphics, easy to play and good sound effects, however I preffer ADVANCE WARS from NDS, why? it's more fun....Anyway it's a better tittle at great price.

Very Nice
Being an avid PC strategy gamer, Field Commander was one of the first PSP games I bought. I wasn't disappointed. The campaign is fun and long and the maps are nicely designed so that it's not always enough to just keep churning out units to take out the baddies... one map had a hidden tank that required a coordinated attack from ground and air to take it out. The naval battles have their own problems with submarines lurking about and shallows slowing down the fleet. Field Commander is a very impressive turn-based strategy game for the PSP. The only downside: although the game supports online multiplayer, it's difficult to find anyone online to play with, if you have friends that also have Field Commander then you can coordinate, otherwise you'll just be playing the single player campaign... but I'd give 5 stars for that alone.

FIELD COMMANDER
with the exception of having an incredibly bland title, everything about this game is excellent. there's a great progression in story, difficulty, locations and available units. the gameplay is pretty easy to understand, and the graphics and attack animations are very well done. the main story is fun and long. even still, there are tons of unlockables that you can use in instant action, and you can design your own battle maps, giving this game hours and hours more play after the main story is completed. terrific value!
