Excellent
A good SRPG! Perfect for people who are new to this subgenre as it is friendly to beginners, but doesn't alienate the fans of the genre. Interesting take on the French historic heroine, and a must buy for SRPG fans!

JEANNE D'ARC
if you like "tactics" style RPG or strategy games, then i would highly recommend Jeanne D'Arc. just for the length of the game alone, it's a great value. the story has lots of twists, and several major characters have some well-written arcs with surprising depth. the cel-animated portions of the story bring out the characters a little more, but even the cutscenes rendered with the game engine are beautiful and full of character. in fact, the engine does a great job with the battlefields, characters and environments. if you've played this type of game before, you won't find anything particularly new or surprising about the gameplay. there are a few branches to the story and some extra play modes that give plenty of replay value after the main story ends. if you haven't played many strategy RPGs before, this game is a very forgiving primer to the genre.

RPG freak?? Then this game is the 1!!!

This game was great. It's a simple turn based strategy game, much like "Fire Emblem" for Nintendo. It has exceptional graphics and is enjoyable. The story is well thought-out too, since it is a fictional scenario of Joan of Arc: If Joan of Arc was not killed by the English, what would have happened? Great fantasy strategy RPG.

Nice
One of the nice features of this game is the ability to transform for certain characters. You'll gain special abilities and boost to your stats. You also have different kind of units with different weapons e.g. sword, spears, magic, etc.

Skills and magics have to be equipped, just like equipments. You gain skills from 'stealing' them from the enemy, or from combining 2 skills to make 1 new skill. Although the characters become highly customisable, they also lose their uniqueness.

Story progresses as you finish one battle map. There is also a free battle mode for you to gain money and experience points. Recommended for strategy RPG fans.
