Same Old RPG experience, but it still rocks!!! Luminous Arc is your regular strategy turn based RPG. It has everything you expect from an RPG game, which is perhaps it's greatest downfall, there's nothing new in this game. The game is based on a tried and tested formula and theres nothing that's completely original to seriously affect you and get you addicted. Another major let down is the lack of a job system and evolution.
That's the bad side of the story, now for the good. The story is quite good and unfolds quite well and keeps you intersted and the music and voice acting is so-so with a few very good voices and some not so good ones. The graphics and detail in battle are good and the Flash Drives are well animated the charecters look top-notch like all Japenese Strategy games but pehaps the greatest plus is the use of wi-fi to battle with your friends.
So the final word, although this game has nothing new to offer it still does what it's supposed to quite well and with above average story, music, graphics and gameplay. I give it 4/5 STARS.
