    Great remake
If only more remakes of older games were of this calibre. The graphics are some of the best you'll see on the DS and the soundtrack is just as impressive. Sure the game is a bit light on story, but there is enough there to keep you motivated to play through the game. The game isn't as difficult as some people have made it out to be and you do not have to level grind ad nauseum to pass dungeons. The only exception to this is the last boss who is a cheap $%^#. Definitely a worthwhile addition to your DS library.

    Final Fantasy III
This game is awesome. The story is long and enjoyable, the graphics are great for a ds game and extra screen is helpful for knowing where you are.
Easily one of the best games on ds.

    i didnt like this game
graphics are realy good for a ds game, but apart from that you can tell this is a game originally made for the NES, and it shows big time, with a lame storyline, and insanely repetitive gameplay that makes you go mad and plus this game is very hard, and the atrocious save system does not help at all making it even harder.

    Really great game
This is a brillant game got no hype that I can tell. It's great Nintendo got a Final Fantasy game, aside from GBA games. Must have for any Final Fantasy Fan!! The DS is a beautiful piece of tec, pity there's not too many games that really push it.

I feel the game for all it's hype...
is lacking heavly in the additional screen that’s also touchable department.

But save for that and the general chompy-like handling it’s a beautiful game that I think needed a bit more time in develpment.

I'm surprised they didn't put this on the psp since the graphics would have been about 10 times better and I don't feel the ds stylus really added anything. However, the dual screens was very helpful, especially for knowing where you're going on the map! Never-the-less, this is a really enjoyable game. The character classes will keep you occupied...and give some great cosplay ideas ;)
The plot doesn't live up to that of any other final fantasy, apart from tactics advance, but the different moves depending on your class and the need for magic to get through the game will stop you from continuously pushing the 'attack' button....until you get the really powerful weapons that is.

    Sooooooo charming!
This is a really charming game - from the music, to the characterisations (SD characters never looked so awesome. So much better than the FFVII incarnations!) and even to the maps and towns.

It's a truly gorgeous game that deserves to be part of any DS- and RPG-player's game library.

    huge game
finally i received the game today...

it's really awesome/ great graphics / great music / if you're used to play to final fantasy, it's the same as usual / exactly what i expected. the only disappointing thing is that the upper screen stays black during the fights... ^^ BUT THIS GAME IS A MUST HAVE FOR ALL DS OWNERS^^

thanks to square enix and also greats thanks to playsia: very good customer service, speedy delivery (12 days by airmail), good prices for games and postage...

i think i m going to buy a lot of stuff!!

    Really GOOD! Yay! :D
This is absolutely worth every penny. I ordered it from here because it's so.much.cheaper than in stores, especially over here in holland, and fell in love with it right from the bat.

For starters, it looks great. Adorable sprites and quite impressive in-game graphics. The way the characters are portrayed really takes me back to the good ol FF7 days, and I'm not entirely sure but I THINK I heard FF8's end credit's song about 2 hours in. It's so nostalgic! I'm really utterly charmed by it.

Another great thing about this game is that it'll take you quite a while. I'm only a few hours in and the difficulty is, for me, just right. It fluctuates a bit, for example a certain dungeon is right in front of your nose,a nd should you wander in you will no doubt be killed. I can't remember any recent rpg's who did that sort of thing anymore. What I'm saying is that it's not a game you can just breeze through, but at the same time it's not so hard that it gets frustrating.

So for me this is just another high point. I loved Magical Starsign but was kinda let-down by the overall too easy gameplay. FF 3 is a big step up from other recent ds rpgs, and just a FUN game to play.
The job system is a bit confusing at first, but you'll figure it out quickly and from there on it's a really nice feature. Just seeing the sprites change outfits is just so cute XDDD Oh and yeah, it's a nice strategic (and fun) spin on the whole fighting thing.

The ONLY thing that let me down is the Mognet system, but I'm not terribly sad about it. XD Even without Wifi this is a great game, no kidding, PLUS the mognet system is in fact use-able and all, it's just really.grating. >_< But it works! Just takes a bit of patience.

    miya's superdooper rating: 9/10!! ^__^

I orded the game by airmail and got it deliverd within 5 days. Thats neat ^ ^
Play-Asia has his service well unpacked. I will sure drop by for more stuff.

As for the game itself. Its amazing! It brings me back to the days when i was playing FF7. The music, the story, the characters, it all hooks you up from the very begining of the game. Its just makes you wanna cry. LoL!

FF3 is also the main reason why i bought the Nintendo DS Lite. I am glad that i have done it. If you are a FF fan this is a must have to your collection. If you have never played RPG and you want to enter this world. This will be a great welcome game to the genre. Square Enix trully know how to bring the magic.
