Pokémon Ranger is unlike any Pokémon game you've played before. You control your character using the stylus, and all Pokémon are captured using a Capture Styler instead of a Poké Ball. Since you're a Pokémon Ranger and not a trainer, you must release each captured Pokémon back into the wild after they help you. It's a whole new way to explore the Pokémon universe!

Fresh, but its sequel is better
A fresh and mildly challenging game that is suitable for children and adults alike. By the way, there is a sequel to this game (Shadow of Almia) which is just as good, and has a better touch-input interface (i.e. capturing is easier).

Awesome
This is a very good game, plus after you beat it you can unlock Manaphy (secret pokemon) egg to transfer to Diamond and Pearl! Its VERY frustrating at times but you'll learn to love it.

Great Game
lots of fun, and different then the 'normal' Pokemon RPG's we're so used to. I highly recommend it to all Pokemon fans.
