A Golden Remake
For me, Pokemon generation 2 was the best one, and making a remake of that generation and adding all the newer moves seen in later generations is obviously going to go well.
On top of this, the game adds all the newer Pokemons to catch in special ways, and includes several of other generations Legendaries to catch as well, avoiding the need to massivelly transfer Pokemon to a newer game.
The game features 2 Pokemon regions, Johto and Kanto... so there is a lot to explore, Leader rematches and a lot of secrets to find.
All in all, this and Pokemon Soul Silver are, and will always be, the best Pokemon games out there.

My first Pokémon ever
I finally decided to try and play Pokémon, and choose this one, because it's the remake of a classic, so the original Pokémons are still there to catch. Pokéwalker is also a great addition to the game features

2 Pokemon Regions in one.
You won't find any other Pokemon RPG games that contains 2 regions in one game this is the only one of the two Pokemon Games which has that, Other is Pokemon SoulSilver.

Great Remake but....
I´d like to had the option to choose Kanji. Also there are a lot of Pokemon who´re too hard to catch in the normal way. 2 games worth of content but only 1 Masterball simply isn´t enough...
But all in all great game

This remake is nostalgic to me as i have the chance to travel through Johto once more. Johto was one of my fav regions because of the japanese-styled buildings
And its very cool that you can walk with any 493 of your pokemon! i really liked this very much! - this was absent from black and white sadly.
the Pokethlon is also very fun and addictive to play, trust me. really had a lot of fun there!
