It's time to throw down on the court. Take on the superstars from the Mushroom Kingdom (and some special guests) with the super hands-on control of Mario Hoops 3-on-3.
Use the touch screen to get you game on as you execute tricky dribbles, special passes and sweet shots all with strokes and taps of the stylus. To score big, you'll need to dribble around the court and collect as many coins as possible. When you make a shot, you get a set number of points (20 for a traditional shot) in addition to points for all the coins you've collected. The team with the most points when the buzzer sounds wins the game.

Fantastic presentation, flawed controls From the moment you start this game up youl be blown away by the impossibly fantastic presentation. The graphics and sound are so good it really makes me wonder just what the DS is capable of in the right hands.
Onto the gameplay..........
Youl start off going through the tutorial mode which shows you each command on its own and all seems to work perfectly. However once you start some matches, you may find the touch screen controls a little unresponsive and inaccurate. Sure, 90% of the time the game understands your commands, but when playing on the harder modes a pass mistaken for a shot can lead to some hair pulling/DS smashing moments. This coupled with your dim witted AI team mates can leave the game more frustrating than it should be.
If it wasn't for the fantastic presentation i would have only given the game 2stars, but they're so good youl almost think you playing a ps2 game.
