Players move into a living, breathing world inside the Nintendo DS...and then invite their friends to visit from anywhere on earth.
Players make their own stories. A player and up to three friends move into a village and just live life, extend a home, interact with their neighbors and explore the village.
Much of the cast of the original Animal Crossing returns, including animals of all shapes and personality types: K.K. Slider, Tom Nook, Blathers, Mr. Resetti and more. There are also a number of new characters.
We always find our cute animals.
The functions of the DS are very well run.
We are waiting now "Animal Crossing" Wii

A game or a new life, you decide. Well to tell the truth, I won't categorized this 'game' as a game. Why? Because it actually replace your real life for quite a while.
Calling this thing as an experience is a better thing to put it. And well, it's a totally unforgettable experience. Ranging from hanging out with your in-game friend or hanging out with your real life friend in-game, this is the best choice.
You can do anything you would not even dream to do in this game. For example, fossil digging, or decorating your own HOUSE, or taking care about the environment of a whole city, you say it it's there.
This game deserve a 10/10 for it's brilliant idea.

Serious Staying Power It's getting on for a year since I purchased Animal Crossing, and the game still has it's appeal. I've started my town over twice, and I'm still going strong with my third. There's almost nothing bad I can say about the game, for what it is, it's as near to perfect as you can get.
Probably the only bad thing I could say is it'll consume your life should you pick it up, and shaking trees in real life doesn't usually make money fall out ^_^

Ace This game really suits the DS.It's great to just do a bit here and there when you can, or to lose yourself for hours.
Plus it's really easy to do things in the menu with the stylus.
The graphics are really nice and it's totally adictive.

long live import! animal crossing doesn't come out here in Belgium untill sometime in late march, so I decided to order it from PlayAsia.com and I was not let down, it took a little under 3 weeks to arive here and it didn't cost me that much at all!
the game itself is great, thanks to the real time nature of the game and because everygame is different in terms of events, conversations, new inhabitants and so on
it's the best game I own on the DS so far, it's a definite must have for all you DS owners, go get it !

This game is awesome! After many people on message boards told me how good the game is, I decided to import the US version as I didn't want to wait until the UK. All I can say is wow! This game has me hooked. WiFi is great, as you can trade things and stuff like that. I got it about 3 days ago, and I must have spent at least 12 hours playing it, if not more.

Grade This long awaited sequel to the GCN version is very good.
In Graphics, I'd give it a 9, seeing that it is on 32 bit graphics (i am guessing) so the 3D rendering isn't amazing; however, it is adequate in setting the mood of the game and getting the point across.
Playability receives 10, seeing as that you can switch between stylus and pad and has a great range of real world physics involved, not saying that its extremely realistic, but enough to fit the theme of the game.
Sound receives a 10, the music great, its changes volume to adapt to the situation ie: if ur near the ocean the music dims and the sound of the waves can be heard. It changes as the time changes and the weather so it supports the mood.
Plot is irrelevant since this is a simulation game, not an RPG.
Fun receives 10. You can play with your buddies, play alone, and do many other things. There are a huge number of secrets to discover and many of the characters from the GCN version are back.
Without averaging the scores above, I'd give this game a 10/10 overall (aka 5/5) and gives a thumbs up to purchase it =).
