  特點
  • US version of the Japanese hot "Ouendan"
  • Contains new songs
  • As the music plays, players tap the screen, trace rhythmic patterns and keep the beat as the story unfolds on the top screen.
  • Every scene is accompanied by rump-shaking tunes, but players have to keep the Elite Beat Agents grooving. The worse players do, the worse the story might end up.
  • Rhythm games have come and gone, but no one has ever seen anything like the Elite Beat Agents. Whether they’re helping a lost dog find its way home or helping a babysitter charm a hunky football player, no crisis is too weird.
詳細描述
In a jam? Well, all these guys DO is jam! Prepare to rock as these beat masters use their groovy moves to save the day.

The public knows of government agencies like the FBI and CIA, but little is known of this super-secret agency. Code-named “Elite Beat Agents,” these men in black are heroes’ heroes and the coolest group of guys this world has ever known. Of course, according to official records, they do not exist.

Their leader, an ex-CIA agent named Commander Kahn, scans the world for cries of help. When he finds one, he dispatches the agents, who assist their targets by performing a song and dance. The hypnotic nature of their rocking revives the targets with “Groovy” energy that boosts their willpower and helps them overcome their obstacles.

Every stage is presented in a storyline fashion. All stages share similar basic elements and game flow: The player gets introduced to the target’s problem in a comical intro. Commander Kahn dispatches the agents to the scene. The agents arrive in a special “Beat Transport” that is tailor-made for the situation. The song starts as the agents and player meet the target. By tapping and tracing patterns that appear on-screen, players play along with the song’s rhythm. The animated story changes depending on how well the player performs. After each section, the player gets judged. Depending on the Elite-o-meter’s judgment, the story will go well or poorly. If the player makes it though the whole song, he or she will be judged on the whole thing and get one of three endings.

    Fun For Everyone
This game is a great Rhythm game.
People who enjoyed elite beat agent should try this game because you can say this is the daddy of that game.

Manly cheerleaders wher never that funny like they are in this game.
Funny stories and problems you need to solve by supporting the character that needs your help.

From students with studie problems to Musicians with stomach problems.
    Even cleopatra needed there help
There is nothing these fellows can't solve with a little dance and a few shouts.

I didn't have the same fun feeling with elite beat agents and i felt even a little insulted because i played this game and elite beat agents was the western version of Ouendan.

So if you don't know what to take , Elite Beat Agents or Ouendan
    I say go for Ouendan

Well it's japanese but you don't have to understand it because the pictures of the storie line says enough

I stunk at it then Rocked!
Well when my friend came over he brought his ds and some games. Two of them were japanese and asked, " Hey, what are those games called?" They turned out to be ouendan! i tried i Stunk at it then he had to go but he told me about elite bea agents. Then i bought it and played and played but i stunk! After a couple days i beat elite beat agents. A couple of my fav songs on there are: La la, September, Jumpin jack flash and sk8er boi!

if you know elite beat... you know ouendan
good game. if you don't know japanese, it simply doesn't matter. just like elite beat agents only different songs (duh. different countries). anyway, buy it and give play asia money. they deserve it for continuing to stock this bad boy.

Best DS game Besides the sequel
I first tried it on my sister's DS. I loved it so much I got DS of my own Just for it (and EBA+Ouendan 2).

Fun but not as good as Ouendan
It's a fun game and the songs are alright but the one thing I couldn't stand is how the story and characters are kinda lame. The agents for example look lame. I mean come on....secret agents that dance. They try and have a cool westernized look about them but I reckon it looks more stupid and lame than cool.

In comparison in Ouendan 1 & 2 however the characters don't look lame and have a more comedic feel and look to them which PERFECTLY suits the nature of the game.

The gameplay in EBA is still there and it's just as addictive but I found it more irritating to play than Ouendan. Plus since it's in English rather than Japanese it kind of loses that anime feel.

I bought EBA first out of the 3 and it was a blast to play but the issues I mentioned, while may seem ridiculous to mention to some bugged me so much that I sold it on eBay once I finished the game. A while later I bought the Ouendan games and decided to keep them because the songs are all good and I didn't find it irritating to play like I did in EBA.

    I love this.
My boyfriend borrowed me this game to try out and even now, months later, I haven't returned it yet! I love the game. It's fun, addictive, the songs are nice and the stories are awesome! Even though it's in japanese, you don't even have to understand because the interface is so straight to the point and the icons make everything clear enough. My little sister tried it too, and she loved it. I'm definately getting this game soon.

The reason I got a DS in the first place...
I was recommended to buy this game by one of my friends, and it's a purchase I've never regretted. Ouendan has to be the game I've played the most, not to mention enjoyed. I still play it, even several years later. It's a game that really uses the function of the touch screen, it's fun and addictive, and it's extremely easy to learn. It takes a time to master though, which only adds to the fun. First you'll be content with finishing it on normal, then you have to try it on hard... and soon you'll be obsessed with getting S-ranks on insane mode. It happened to me, and it will happen to you too. Buy it, I've never heard of somebody who have disliked this game!

    Better than EBA ?
I reckon so... I guess there are a couple of things I do prefer from Elite Beat Agents (better graphics in places, ability to skip intro's) but then there are a few issues with EBA's songs / stories (see others comments, but i do disagree with some of the more severe criticism).
My advice - buy both - both are brilliant games - certainly 2 of the best on the DS or indeed any recent console... (P.S. I can't wait for Ouendan 2!!!)

    Elite Beat Agents
A male cheerleader game called Osu! Tatakae! Ouendan took the video games import market by storm last year. Elite Beat Agents is the spiritual sequel to the game -- it uses the same gameplay system but has all-new songs, added features and English localisation. You take on the role of a group of three secret agents who help the world with the power of music and dance. The targets of their rescue are people in distress, complete with their own farfetched background series.

These quirky stories are presented in a manga-like style, panel by panel. You start off helping a girl get along with her boyfriend, and progress to bizarre scenarios like helping celebrities, old baseball heroes, cats and dogs -- and eventually save the world from an alien invasion. Gameplay consists of three different moves -- tapping a series of numerical buttons along to the beat, sliding your stylus along with a moving button, or spinning a circle around and around on the touch-screen. The last one is scary, since a seasoned player could spin it obscenely fast. New players should take extra care not to wreck their touch-screen.

Packed with 19 songs ranging from retro hits like the Village People's Y.M.C.A. to more contemporary hits like Good Charlotte's The Anthem, there is something for everyone. The songs are all covers, but considering that the DS' music playing capabilities are limited, it is not that bad. This game gets difficult as you work through the stages, culminating in some of the most heart-pumping, handheld-wrecking action to hit the DS. Most people will find it hard to complete the game in one try, but the sheer addictiveness and adrenaline rush encourages you to try and try again. With highly engaging, infectious gameplay, Elite Beat Agents is one of the best music action games for the Nintendo DS to-date.

And Who Said Men Can't Be Cheerleaders?
What a fantastic game this is! Being in the UK, I didn't want to wait for the European release of Elite Beat Agents so I decided to import. As I was searching for EBA, this caught my eye. I bought this over EBA and I'm glad I did. Such a charming, refreshing game and the language barrier is broken down with easy to navigate menu's and little comic style cartoons telling the story along the way. This has taken over my DS Lite and I may not even bother with EBA (after hearing the European playlist >_

    This game does NOT suck!
Just by looking at the title, you may think that it's stupid or that the fact that it's the main source of that wacky game Elite Beat Agents makes you think this is dumb. But once you get into the music, this game is fun, more unqiue than EBA, and with better tunes (FMA's theme "Ready Steady Go!"), this is one game you cannot pass up!

Loads of fun, and then some...
I just played this game today. I've been holding it, since release, and never opened it. Too busy playing Yoshi's Island DS on my new Ice Blue I imported from PlayAsia.com.

But this game uses the stylus to the max! I really enjoy playing music games, definitely my favorite genre. I was hoping the soundtrack would be more snazzy and jazzy, and a bit less rock and roll. But that's okay. The "cover bands" are not too bad, and as I'm a bit older than the young kids playing this type of music, so I don't notice the differences much. But, the music is not my normal type to listen to. I enjoy more poppy tunes, and less "grunge rock."

I may just have to check out the Japanese version of this game, and see if it uses more "J-Pop?" Maybe somebody who knows could respond to that, in the comments section of this review?

I love the use of the stylus and how you can take on the roll of a "hero" in this game. I love the "comic book" and/or Manga feel of the story-line as you proceed through the levels. I have yet to play very far into this game, but am enjoying it immensely. I recommend it highly.

    Ouendaaaaaaaaaaaaaaan!!!!!
Good game, but has some downfalls compared to its American counterpart Elite Beat Agents. Elite Beat Agents has some features that I really wish Ouendan had. For example: you can only skip scenes wothout music, leaving you to watch long intros just to play the songs, which will get annoying once you get into the final levels. Also, i was finding myself losing to songs where i hadn't missed once, and had almost hit every one with a 300. A few other things about it: Gameplay is based on popular Japanese music. If you don't know the songs, you will probably fail many times in levels 3 & 4. Also, the positioning of the buttons seems to not flow as much as in Elite Beat Agents. Overall, Ouendan is good, but Elite Beat Agents is better, even with the song Lala

    AWESOME
This game is incredible. The gameplay is very fun and challenging, and the stories are really funny. The song selection has some faults, but overall is pretty nice (Sk8er Boi and Material Girl are the only really horrible ones. Lala's cover doesn't have Ashlee's singing, and it's become a good song.) The game feels more polished than Ouendan. The Agents have some great dance moves, and the skip feature is great, especially on the last stage. Speaking of the last stage, it's epic, and blows Ouendan's meteor out of the water. If you like rhythm games in the least, pick this one up.

Hilarious and completely off the wall!
You know you have a killer game in your DS when the people you sit with on break at work suddenly notice you smile or gaze zombie like at the screen. Ouendan is no exception. Just try and explain to people how you're currently trying to stop a cat weeing on a floor by dancing. One of the levels in Ouendan is spectacular above all the rest. The tone changes to a heaven level, where all the SFX have changed to gentle instruments. It's quite powerful, and is one of favourite gaming moments of the year so far.

    Ouendan ROCKS!
I just got this game in today with my ds lite! At first I was confused as to know when to correctly hit the circles but I got used to it. The songs are pretty good even though I don't understand Japanese. I would definitely recommend this game to anyone that likes simulation games.

Shipping again was REAL fast. P-A does an excellent job on that.

This is an awesome game. It starts out really easy, but it gets rather frantic near the end, so it calls for some memorisation, accuracy, and a love for the music featured in the game :)

    Highly recommended music-themed game.

A must have for your DS, you really don't need to understand any Japanese to get the full enjoyment out of this game and there are guides online that explain the (very few) menus to you. I especially recommend this to fans of Gitaroo Man and Space Channel 5.

About half as fun as Ouendan
The gameplay is the same as Ouendan, but the music selection is quite poor IMO. The j-rock selection of Ouendan was excellent, but the songs in EBA are quite slow and boring and just plain uninteresting and you can't hear them very well under the sound effects anyway. I'm under the impression that it's all they could afford to licence... and that's too bad.

So my advice is : find the tracklist before buying. If you like the songs, then go for it! If not, stick to Ouendan ;).

    A must buy!
I wanted to get Elite Beat Agents but when I read what the song list was I changed my mind (Cher, Avril Lavigne? No thanks!).

If you like that sort of music EBA is a fine game, but the music in Ouendan is very catchy, and I don't even like Pop, much less JPop. But the music fits perfectly for this game.

Took six business days to get to Montreal. Great site, great service, great prices.

One of the best DS games around
Wow, this game is just great fun. It's a feelgood game with somekind of a story but it's flimsy. It doesn't matter much, the gameplay is what EBA is all about and it does a great job at it! I've not seen any game on the DS that uses the stylus as intense as EBA does. Graphics are one of the best these days (on the DS platform). However, the choice of songs could be a no-go for some people. It's a tad poppy (i.e. YMCA, Material Girl) but for me as a rock music fan that was not even a problem considering the gameplay and colorfull joy that splashes of the screen. Definately a required game in your DS games collection! Personal ESBR rating is 12+ by the way.

    Great! A must have!
This game is fun, addicting, and very entertaining. The music is catchy, and the game requires practically no knowledge of the japanese language.

It's challenging but has an easier difficulty setting, multiplayers very fun, and so is single player.

    An excellent rhythm matching game
I had no experience with the apparent predeccessor Ouendan. Regardless, this is an excellent game.

You are asked to tap, slide and spin the stylus on the DS screen in time with the music, while a manga-style story unfolds on the top screen. The song selection is pretty varied (rooted in rock/pop), and each one offers a different challenge. The graphics are just the right amount of cheesy :)

Highly recommended for a great pickup-and-play experience.

    Better than Elite Beat Agents
I bought Elite Beat Agents the day it came out and love every bit of it, but when I got Ouendan, I was quickly dumbfounded. This game has better music and the difficulty is harder than EBA. It seems like EBA was a bit dumbed down for the American audience, but Ouendan is the real original experience. You don't need to know anything about kanji since the story is pretty much easy to follow through the panels.
Amazing and a must buy for any rhythm game fan.

    Easily better than Ouendan
The music is about half great and half barely tolerable. Overall, it's still a very "fun" tracklist. Maybe it's because I dislike 'J-pop' intensely, but the gameplay more than makes up for the poor music selections in both. The humour lives up to Ouendan, as well as general difficulty (which the ability to skip straight to the song greatly helps). The most addictive game I've played since..Ouendan.

    VERY addictive.
I imported Ouendan and loved it, so I bought this as well. I agree, it's better than Ouendan, or at least right up there with it. The music fits the game well, and the agents themselves are excellent. It's made me waste time I should've spent doing other things, but didn't because I was too hooked on the game. Being able to skip the intros to each song is definitely a plus, as well. I loved playing the last level of Ouendan, but trying to beat it on the hardest difficulty and failing just to have to go through 15-20 seconds of intro killed the fun a bit.

    Doesn't beat Ouendan
True there are more things to do. However in terms of wackiness and general fun (And music selection) Oueudan is superior. But EBA is an amazing game as well, though the dancers seem more "stupid" instead of "wacky". (Wacky as in like Ouendan)

    Better then Ouendan
its better in turms of stuff to do, there a total of 19 levels (14 normal, 2 final and 3 bonus), the final level is 2 levels, with 2 song, and one of the best bits other then recording your play is skiping the long intro, so you get strait to the numbers, no more long waits to play the last level and fail only to watch the long intro again....its great

If you like rhythm games, you'll LOVE this!
My first ever japanese imported game, and sure not my last! Bypass the hyped and overly westernised tracklist of "Elite Beat Agents" and go straight to where it started! Heres hoping they make a true japanese sequel!

Brilliant game, I was sceptical at first as I don't usually like rhthym/beat games, but after all the rave reviews friends were giving it, I had to give it a try.
Probably the best DS game so far.

    My favorite DS Game
This game is a total blast! It's a basic rhythm game mechanic, with just enough variety to keep you learning, combined with hilarious manga visuals of people who just need a little support from your 3-man male cheerleading squad. It's also *hard*, even if you start on easy mode; you'll be doing plenty of level restarts, and trying to get your 'reitinhu' up to A for each song is tough at all levels. But that just means you'll keep it in the DS for a long time, 'cuz it's fun.

Hint: play on headphones no matter where you are, the sound is infintely better than the speakers.

    Marvelous!
Yeah, as EVERYONE here said before, this game is THAT good! It's VERY addictive, so watch out!!The last music on the hardest mode is CRAZY! Man...that's VERY challenging. And remember: you DON'T NEED TO KNOW JAPANESE to play this game! So, as you can see, the ONLY problem on this is that I got sick of the musics after listening and playing them for too long. But overall, this game is almost perfect! Don't think twice and GET THIS GAME!

Solid and addicting to say the least
Many, this game is wild. I had a friend call me and tell me I had to get it and that it's right up my alley. He was right.

It's a blast. I do have to agree with the fact that having to sit through the little intros each time you fail (which will be a lot unless you're a robot or something) is annoying. They should just cut right to the part where you start playing or no more than five seconds from it.

I still love it, though, and it kicked mario Kart out of the slot for a while.

It's a great game. Really fun, and only got it because of the great soundtrack to begin with.

Also to note: TO SKIP VIDEOS, hit the LITTLE ICON on the lower right of the touch screen, and that skips the video. That'll end some frustration for those of you.

No as good as most people yell out
On the one hand this game is really addictive and makes lots of fun even if you fail sometimes, and it includes also great music, but on the other hand you always have to watch a certain part of the intro which contains the typical "OUENDAAAAN" battle cry and can't skip it. Okay, most of you may say "Oh come on, no big deal!", but honestly: If you fail just 3 or 4 times you get pissed off, even in the last mission in which this intro-part takes about 30 seconds. Sometimes this really KILLS the fun and you just say "f"§$ it" and turn it off.
This game WOULD be a top game if you would be able to play it more fluently without these annoying "stops".

Was so surprised when the game plays the songs " Atsuki Kodou no Hate" by B'z , "Shanghai Honey" by Orange Range and "Ready Steady Go" by L'arc en ciel. Never thought that I'd know any songs in there.

Giggly fun is the best way to describe this game
Someone else said it and I concur. I bought this game and I literally laughed out loud playing it. Partly at the audacious and giddy fun of the gameplay, music and presentation. Partly because I couldn't believe that someone thought up a game so fun, engrossing and interesting. Yes, I laughed out loud in part because it made me happy to know that human beings are capable of this level of creativity and genius. Amazing. Simply amazing. THE game to own for the DS.

If you have a DS, you have to get Ouendan.
I don't care if you're not the sort of person who goes in for rhythm action games. Ouedan will blow your socks off regardless. The more work you put into this game the more you get out. I can't really describe how good the interface feels, you'll just have to take my word for its brilliance.
The music is quite good for the most part and there are a few tracks that will have you humming along in pleasure.
You can play quite easily despite the language difference. I pretty much figured out all the menu commands and the game commands within a minute of turning the system on. The short stories accompanying the songs are presented in comic book style, so you can easily work out the gist of what is going on in them.

    Cheers for Ouedan
So few North American games reach the heights of inspired strangeness that is the hallmark of the average Japanese game. Ouedan is no exception. Inspired music selections, slick interface, vivid 3D visuals, and sharp, colourful manga artwork make this an addictive, must own giggley good time. Yes, I said giggley damnit. Easy to play, tough to master. Buy this game.

    INCREDIBLE RIDE!
This game is absolutely refreshing and what I long to play more of here in the US. From start to finish, you'll enjoy yourself with a smile on your face. This is a very user friendly game and you don't need to have any knowledge of Japanese at all to figure out what is happening. The levels are presented beautifully and the music is completely rocking.
You won't be disappointed with this purchase! Highly recommended.

One of the top 3 DS titles.
Don't be put off by the Japanese text: this is one of the most import friendly titles out there. The stories are relayed in easy to understand stills, and there's no in game text of any importance.

The game itself is a rythym action accuracy groove fest, which needs you to learn each song and their patterns to tap or slide along to when prompted. A longer stylus (as with most DS titles) goes a long way to helping you along, especially with the trickier later levels!

The songs themselves are very good, catchy J-Pop/rock numbers. Perhaps not as memorable as Parappa or Gitaroo Man, but you'll be singing them in your sleep nonetheless!

Longevity is elongated simply with harder modes, there isn't the plethora of unlockables as with Meteos for example, but it's still up there with the must buy's of the latest round of DS releases.

Along with Kirby and Meteos, make sure this is in your collection. Hook it up to your stereo and get on down! Excellent fun.

it' has just become my favorite DS game! I was wondering about the game lifetime; well it's not a rpg so don't expect it too be long, but believe me it's good enough for all the fun you get.

    Recommend!
It IS an excellent game, rating it from what you've heard of read about a game isn't exactly appropriate. A game really has to be played to be evaluated properly.

As for the duration, it may not be very long - 15 tracks à 3 min (guessed average) might be less than an hour, but I doubt you would complete the levels on the first run, even on easy, not to mention everything above.

There're 2 difficulties (easy, normal) right from the start, plus 2 additional, harder modes to be unlocked. And even after you beat every level (which WILL take you a while, especially on the higher difficulties), you'll definitely return to the levels to enjoy the music while perfecting your play.

It's a rhythm based game, it's about action. It may not take you forever to complete like any given RPG, but you will be excited constantly and the setting will just make you smile, if not laugh out loud. Kind of reminds me of Katamari (not the same genre, but similar effect).

If you judge this game by its netto duration, or its amount of unlockables, and overlooks the plain fun you'll have simply enjoying this piece of entertainment software, then maybe you should rethink why you play videogames at all.

    ok, ok
it seems to be an excellent game from what I have heard all over the web, Im waiting to receive mine, I ll add my comments about something which isn't mentionned : the game duration.
because one of the biggest problem on DS's game is that they are really too short.
donc voila, j'espere que quand je recevrai ce jeux qui a l'air excellent, je vais pas avoir une mauvaise surprise quant a sa durée de vie. (enfin, avec another code maintenant je suis bien preparé XD)

    Hey! Get! Ouendan
Quite simply, this game rocks. I haven't played anything close to this fun in quite a long time.

Each of the 15 levels tells the story of someone in trouble and needing help from the Cheer Squad. The stories are told in Japanese manga, but are easy to follow. Some of the predicaments are crazy funny! The better you do at keeping the cheer level up while the story unfolds (by hitting the rhythm markers at the right time), then the better the outcome for the person in the story (and the higher your score). The music tracks are enjoyable even though I don't know one lick of Japanese. Who cares?! They're still a blast!

The whole game is in Japanese yet the game menus and settings are easy to figure out. There are 4 difficulty levels, but even on Easy the gameplay ramps up quickly. My only complaint with the game is there's a lot of humor in the stories which I don't understand. Shame, really.

It's also a shame more people outside Japan won't see this game because it showcases how fun and accessible the DS can be.

    Yes! Order! Ouendan

    One of the best!
Ouendan is easily one one of the best music rhythm games I've ever played and is one of the greatest games on DS.

The gameplay is simple & addictive, the stories (presented in a cool comic book style) are funny and the songs sound excellent and are well suited to each stage.

This game is fully in Japanese, but you don't need to be able to read Japanese to enjoy it as everything in the game is represented visually and anyone can understand it.
