The worst Contra and the worst Game on Nintendo DS!

Amazing!
If you love previous Contra's, 2D platform shooters in general, or a gaming challenge this is the game for you.

I don't think it's as difficult as earlier games in the series, but it's still no pushover on higher difficulty settings (on easy you can't see the whole game anyway).

The use of the dual screen requires the player to be more aware of potential dangers from above and below (surely the point eh?), but I feel it's very well implemented.

Finally, when you think it can't get better, you find older games in the series for you to play with ;)

For the hardcore fans only
Contra is what you always expect it, over the top, tough, tense and frantic. there's something for ever contra fan in contra 4, be advised that its not for the non-experienced. truly a love letter to all the old contras, and still as fun.

AWFUL level design! In fact, it's just Contra 1 with two-screens and a grappling hook! This is what happens when Americans take over a Japanese franchise!

Awesome.
Epic old skool contra action. recommened for every person who likes challenging games, old skool games, or some good fun.

A warning thou this game is hard at beggining, but once you figure out the patterns it becomes quite easy to finish with one life.
