Expected Next Step From Classic Digimon interface
There's been some clash between whether a digimon game should be like Digimon World (More of an RPG-Pokemon) interface, or similar to the earlier Tomogotchi-like Digimon.

This game Takes the Tamogotchi route. Where foremost, you do not have control of your digimon. Instead, the outcome in battle relys on how you raise your digimon and their attitude towards battle initially.

You also catch your digimon in a safari environment, using the DS Stylus to Rope the digimon and using bait and weapons to stun and aid in catching them.


Even though the folks at Digimon have made a great attempt and seperating them from their previous portable games and their Pokemon interface. It feels like the game is unfinished, and the whole game kind of drops off after a few years have pasted in the game. The digi-volution track is also quite non-descript when you want to evolve to particular digimon.

The game besides that is a great game for those who want to relive the digimon franchise without the childish storyline that comes with the Digimon World Franchise. Only Tip i can give is sit down with a walkthrough of the evolution charts. Nothings worse that having your prized pokemon digi-volve into a Sukamon and generally Sucking until it turns back into an Egg.

Horrible...
One of the worst Digimon games to date. You do not even fight i8n the game, you spend all your time raising the digimon and then you just watch them fight. Having no control over them whatsoever.
