It's still Pokemon. If you already bought Diamond or Pearl, you might want to wait for this to be cheaper, unless you're a huge Pokemon fan. But the new content and tuning really make this one of the best in the series. Pokemon is as popular as it is for a reason, definitely still recommended.

The online mini games are fun Me and my girlfriend love playing them with each other. They are a fun time waster when you don't want to battle or trade. This game will hold you over till Heart gold and Soul silver.
Pokemon Fans' Must Buy Platinum has many enhancements on Diamond/Pearl. Increased battle speed and added move tutors that you can make your pokemons learn more useful moves. They are very helpful while you WiFi battling with your friends.

Catch 'em all I have been playing Pokemon since the red/blue era, the series has not changed much, but the fun has absolutely remained. Pokemon Platinum is not just an expansion to Diamond and Pearl, the amount of new content will keep you coming back to this addictive game.

Pokemon Platinum Don't expect anything too different with this game compared to the other Pokemon games. But, although you do get the feeling that you've done all this before, it is still as addictive as it used to be, and with the inclusion of the Battle Frontier, it is a game that will take up many hours of your life. If you like Pokemon, then you will love this game.
The best Pokemon yet Pokemon Platinum takes what was so good about Diamond and Pearl, and blows it away. Even more things are added to the game to make it a great experience. Re-done plot, Great use of the DS's 3D capabilities, the ability to re-fight Gym Leaders, the redesigned areas, and newer, more fluid sprites make the game all the more enjoyable.
Cyrus, from Pokemon Diamond, is up to something in this remake. And that big warpy-thingy over Mt. Coronet isn't a good sign. As the Sinnoh region cools down and snow starts to fall, you're on your way to becoming a Pokemon Master. But do you have the courage to go out of your way and stop the world from ending?
The game's a perfect one, but the best part is the newly revived BATTLE FRONTIER. Fans of Pokemon Emerald will no doubt love the new Battle Frontier, with 3 new buildings to add 3 new ways to play. Plus, the Battle Factory and Battle Tower return, giving veterans of Emerald a bit of old-styled fun.
Overall, Platinum is the perfect DS Pokemon. At least until HeartGold and SoulSilver run by...

Pokemon I waited from february until march 22. I waited 2 more days for it. I don't regret any time I spent waiting, as it was worth it.
Best DS Game You just can't miss this gorgeous title, but beware, after playing this you'll lost your appetite to other games..

Play-Asia is the best the pokemon platinum game i order'd on a friday and i got it on a monday(today) the game it self is pretty good so you wont be dissapointed with this one guys
nice game I have been a fan of the Pokemon franchise, since I was a little boy; I have been playing the Pokemon Videogames for a long time. This videogame is not a disappointment. It has been fun playing it, because I received it today. It also helps with my japanese that I have been studying.
Pokemon Platinum review Great game! The makers of the game have made a few improvements since diamond/pearl (some areas have new graphics, extra areas/challenges, some new storyline and new forms for giratina, rotom and shaymin). There are also more legendary pokemon to catch and the main characters have a new outfit.
If youve played through diamond/pearl youll easily understand this game even if you dont know japanese. If not it might be worth the wait for the US/EU releases (in english language).
PERFECT!!! This game is worth being called THE BEST game in the Pokemon series! Everthing in this game works like a charm! I just beat the E4 a few days ago and the post E4 features are AWESOME! 5 stars all the way!
It's much better than D/P Unlike previous 3rd versions to a generation, Pokemon platinum is nearly a different game! The gym order is rearranged, many gyms are redesigned, there are new areas, new forms for pokemon, and a picture of a croagunk you can stick your face through. Not knowing Japanese is not a problem at all, the game is still fun. This is a MUST buy.

Pok幦on Platinum I've been playing it since I received it a little more than a week and a half ago - and I have beaten it. In order to play it, it doesn't require you to be fluent in Japanese (although it would make things more enjoyable). This game has expanded on the concepts that Diamond and Pearl introduced and pushed them beyond the limits. Pokemon Platinum really utilizes the Nintendo DS and its graphics. The storyline is very impressive, and very extravagant.
I recommend this for any Pokemon fan weary of being able to play a Japanese game. Pokemon Platinum is definitely worth the buy.
AWESOME!! This game rules. Despite being a simple adaptation of pearl and diamond versions, the developers decided to tweak some details such as graphics, sprites and so on. I personally, I liked the new forms of Giratina and Shaymin (now this looks like a dog) but the new battle frontier, the possibility of catching Dialga and Palkia, to challenge the leaders of gym time and again, was led the applause. A game must for anyone who is designated fan of pokemon and especially for those who have not bought the previous version.
This Game is Cool I give this game a 5 out of 5. it met my expectations. the graphics have improved, longer story, new characters, the new rotom forms event, and not to mention the torn world. fast delivery and worth every penny.
i love this game so much this game is so fun even if your not a pokemon fan you should get it and it dont matter that its in japanese its really easy to get through! i love :}
Pokemon Platinum This game is great. I have it since a week and i love it. The new sprites, the wifi room, the new story and all the other new features are really cool. It is one of the best pokemon games i ever play. It is a must buy for any pokemon fan.

GREAT this game is great has so many added things cool new sprites better story line not to mention Giratina's origin form is awsome so is sky form shaymin (you need the movie shaymin and talk to the girl in floroma town and she gives you the glacidia flower and she only gives this to you if you have a real movie shaymin and you can only use it on a real movie shaymin also the new rotom forms are cool too not to mention also the new GTS and the wifi room where you can play those mini game things and record your battles great game a MUST BUY for any pokemon fan
Pokemon Platinum, the BEST one yet! Deffinetly! Better graphics, role, scenes, and over-all a great game. I highly recomend this game to all pokemon fans.

Love the BATTTLE FRONTIER and hidden secrets on how to obtain new pokemon>< i hope they come out with a matching AMAZING POKEMON GAME for wii to match this outbreak of pokemon frenzy to top it all off! *squeals and dances like crazy BOTTOM LINE: 5/5 this is one tubular game that you will definitely fall in love with if you love POKEMON!
