Munich, Germany, 1923. Two years have passed since Edward Elric was dragged from his own world to ours, leaving behind his country, his friends and his younger brother, Alphonse. Stripped of his alchemical powers, he has been all this time researching rocketry together with Alphonse Heiderich, a young man who resembles his own brother, hoping to one day find a way back home. His efforts so far had proven fruitless, but after lending a hand to a troubled gipsy girl, Edward is thrown in a series of events that can wreak havoc in both worlds. Meanwhile, at his own world, Alphonse Elric ventures deeper into the mysteries of alchemy in search for a way to reunite with his older brother.
Good The movie made everything fit together that you were kinda not-so-sure about in the series. If you're an FMA fan, I highly reccomend seeing the movie.
Fullmetal Alchemist: The Movie - Conqueror of Shambala This movie is just great. If you have watch the series. You will love the movie. It's a little different from the TV serie but that doesn't matter. You will get Fullmetal Alchemist felling.
This is worth getting, a collectors item and great film This has already gone out of stock once and it was lucky more were available. As the other reviewer says, this boxset is class.
Basically, its probably gonna be quite rare espeically when full metal alchemist becomes more popular in Europe and the quality of the casing is impressive. It comes in a fairly big black box with edwards face on it, (its in the pic) and all the dvds come in separate designed cases.
If you're a fan of full metal this is a good way to complete the set and its easily useable for people who dont understand Japanese, because there are english subs and there are english directions on the case and on the title menus. Great Item:>
Brilliant, just Brilliant if you enjoyed the series you're going to love this.
the limited edition version should be purchased just because it's a great collectors item.
The film is just amazing. the story is amazing. visually its amazing. This film is just AMAZING!!!!!
all of the disc menus are in english (except for titles of clips) which is great. plus the menus are so well designed.
Disc 1 just has the movie, but the key thing on the limited edition version is that the only subtitles on the disc are in ...ENGLISH, and there really good subtitles as well. so for someone like myself it's perfect.
Disc 2 has a making of the movie and a talk session. (no subtitles just the original audio with picture) still, it's really interesting watching the making of (even though i don't understand what's being said) because you get to see how they add the spoken dialogue to the storyboards and just watching the whole process is a lesson in itself.
Disc 3 has an audio commentary of the film with some of the cast and some of the production team. (no subtitles just the japanese voices with movie playing)
but the trailers are great to watch. (again, no subtitles, but doesn't matter after you've watched the film)
the guide book and illustration collection are so good to look at.
all in all, this set is the best way to finish what is my favourite anime series. i'll never grow tired of owning this set and i really recommend you get this before it's gone.
