Not perfect though
Sure, it reduces blister on my thumb, by overlaying the d-pad with smoother button. And the button uses double-sided tape (or something similar to that) to attach itself to the d-pad.
These actually become issues for people who are using face-cover for their PSP, simply because: 1. Unable to close the face-cover, since the button itself protrudes too much. 2. If you were to peel off the button, then the double sided tape will leave bit of sticky residue on the d-pad.
The other thing you should take note is that, you can't snap the analog nub to the existing one, you need to open up your PSP by unscrewing the screws from the battery compartment, and then take off the existing analog nub.
Other than that, it pretty much does what it is supposed to

Surprisingly effective!
At first I was skeptical, but when I received the product, my doubts where all washed away. The substitute D-Pad stays firmly attached to the original D-Pad, and as long as you properly apply it, there wont be any hints that there was a psp normal D-Pad there before.
Playing with it is a breeze as well: executing combo strings in games like Guilty Gear or Street Fighter 3 was never easier.
I can safely say this solves all the d-pad problems that plagued the PSP.
The only drawback I can think of is that the size of the psp will increase, and it won't fit anymore in the famous logitech acrylic carrying case (probably won't fit in any carrying case anymore...).

Great for Fighting Games
I bought this product just for the D-Pad.
It has double sided tape, and it sticks on to your existing dpad.
The D-pad is a must for 2D fighting games and it also very good for EWGF moves in Tekken.

Resurrect Street Fighter on PSP
These cheap little blobs of plastic will end your struggling days as a portable Street Fighter and have you performing a flawless display of split-second dragon punches across the screen.
A helluva lot better than the open-system mod suggested by a certain website, this set of rubber grips performs CPR on your d-pad's dodgy diagnols while keeping your warranty safe. There's no opening the system at all, you just stick it on - like a permanent sticker. And it's cheaper than a McDonald's meal! The end result is the best d-pad - arguably - since the Super Nintendo/Famicon.
