description
This deal contains two separately packed Sony PSP rhythm games Pump It Up EXCEED and Pump It Up Zero for one great price. Developed by the Korean company Studio 9, the two games bear some striking resemblances with Konami's Bemani games, with more emphasis on free style and break dancing rhythms.
Although those familiar with the Bemani games will certainly have an extra edge, given the simple controls and concepts as well as fun elements, it will take no time before a total beginner becomes a veteran.
When the direction indicators overlap with the respective icons on top, press the right buttons in time and according to the rhythm.
Get consecutive beats correct to get a combo and perfect scores. Scores ranges from perfect to bad, to keep the game from ending before the song does, you have to keep your life bar from falling to zero by attaining good scores.
Use the points you earned to customize future games by buying new music pieces, dance steps, direction indicators etc in the store station.
The songs that make up the games are mostly Korean pop, but Studio 9 has assembled a group of musicians under the collective name of Banya to write songs specifically for the game. Pump it Up Exceed comes with ninety seven songs when Pump it Up Zero comes with a hundred and seventeen.
Practice your rhythms and moves on the go with Pump It Up EXCEED Portable + Pump It Up Zero Portable Bundle on your Sony PSP to amaze your friends with your improvements next time when you visit the arcades with them.

Amazing deal
Let me first say that the pump series is a fantastic series. Its much more to my liking than that of ddr.
The pump series offers a great challegene than DDR and a more forward song selection.
Each pump game comes with 3 music sections before zero and 4 sections after zero. Banya(which is mostly classical remakes) Kpop(korean pop), Pop(which can be any music as long as its not korean) and Nightmare which is just a collection of songs from each section with really hard note charts.
Pump games are drastically harder than DDR.
The interface is a little combersume to get use to in arcades because there are no buttons or menus. Everything is done like old ddr where you enter pad combinations to turn of modifers.
This is a really great deal. Only odd thing is this type of game really has no value being on psp.
