very good game
The graphics are amazing for a psp and the gameplay is very good too. I´m addicted for this game!

Worth checking out
The graphics are good and the controls are probably as good as you can get for a FPS on the PSP (read still flawed). Even though it is technically as good as PSP FPSs can get I didn't find it too engrossing.

Resistance Retribution
Well worth the money spent. Great gameplay and graphics. The benchmark for all PSP first-person shooters. The plot is in-depth and you don't have to play the original Resistance: Fall of Men to understand the full story. Grab it before it's sold out!

Awesome 3rd person shooter
This is NOT a FPS as some reviewers mention.

Nevertheless, this game is a MUST have if you own a PSP.
And you dont need to have played original Resistance on the playstation. This is a new character and story.

The missions are solid, graphics are cool and the sounds/music adds to the atmosphere (make sure you wear earphones for maximum effect)!

Unlockables (weapons, etc) add to the replayability.

Highly recommended!

Not great, but enjoyable game
This is the first time I try FPS on PSP. The only complaint is the control, which is awkward using face buttons to aim where to shoot. Thanks to cover mechanics and auto aim system, you can survive the game. But it's not as pleasing as shoot the enemies yourself. Hopefully next PSP comes with dual analog controllers.

Aside from that the graphics is so great for a PSP game, it's above average PSP games. The story, where you pick up the role of a British soldier, James Grayson, gives you another perspective to the ones on PS3 and also other mission type where one of them you got to swim and battle under water. If you're a fan to Resistance and own a PSP, you definitely have to try it.

Resistance: Retribution - Review
This is a good solid 3rd shooter for PSP , if you liked the PS3 Resistance games then you should get it.

Ok shooter
Good game, nice graphics, enjoyable gameplay, adequate story. My gripe with it is that to truly play it as it is meant to, you need a psp 2000 or above and tv out cables, ps3, and a copy of resistance 2. If you have all of the previously mentioned stuff, add a star to my rating.

best FPS on PSP
The PSP isn't well suited for FPS games, but the developers have done a good job with the controls, with a generous aiming assist making life easier. Graphics are great for PSP standards, and the game has a decent story. For the price, it's an absolute bargain and well worth the purchase.

Cool
Very nice graphics, awesome weapons, a cool story and tones of unlockables. Besides its already great replayability, if you own Resistance 2 on PS3, you can connect your PSP to PS3 and unlock an alternative story, which is basically a different game as you will have special ablilities and such. Very money worthy.

AWESOME
This is a great follow-up effort by the same guys who brought us the Syphon Filter series on the PSP. Gameplay is awesome as there are no control issues and you get access to cool weapons available in the resistance world. If you played this game on the PS3, get this game, as the storyline is different and online play is one of the best on the PSP

RESISTANCE RETRIBUTION
this game is very very good, but it does get pretty repetitive after a while. the game follows the structure of the psp syphon filter games very closely. the main missions have lots of hidden extras strewn around, and after completing any mission, you can replay it to unlock a ton of behind-the-scenes features by completing challenges. the gameplay differs from the syphon filter games by chucking the stealth element for straight-up combat. using cover plays a part to some degree, but the fact that the enemy always knows where you are, and you're basically just blasting away at them contributes to the repetitiveness. the controls are solid, and the environments are interesting and beautiful. but you may find yourself wanting to put the game aside for long stretches and pop in something else for some variety.
