Growlanser is a fantasy RPG with an orthodox plot and an innovative system. As a hero who could either revive the land or bring it to a total collapse, you have to be careful how you use your powers and what path you are going to choose.
Path selection do not only happen during the adventure part of the game, but on the fields and in the midst of battles as well.
With dramatic elements popping up in the most unexpected hour, you have to pay attention to all the hints you are given in these scenes to develop your character to match your ideals.
To portray battles in the most realistic ways, you don't get warped into battle screen with your party members, you take civilians into the fray with you, be a true hero, beat the evil forces and prevent the innocents from getting killed.
Party members and comrades, designed by Urushihara Tomoshi are attractive, with distinct looks and personality to match. Finish quests for rewards and do them early for more free time to explore the possibilities of developing your relationships with the characters. Besides existing characters, new ones are added to the cast along with their stories.
