Campaign Code for FF14
If you will be playing FF14 Online next year (2010) then might as well pick this Japanese version (the one with the logo only on the cover). It contains a campaign code that gives you a "secret item" in-game when you play FF14.

Great Game The story is very entertaining whilst not the best in the series it's still a very good title and must for any RPG fan and Final fantasy fan, the cutscene's are very nice and the in game graphics are great too.
Great graphics For the PS3 it's one of the most visually pleasing games. The attention to the detail of the character's hair and clothes are are amazing, but I get a little disappointed when I look at their hands. =(

Excellent Game This game was definitely worth the wait. One thing the last FF game missed was character development. Well, FF 13's character development is wonderful. You may start out hating certain characters, but later throughout the game, you really begin to feel a strong connection with all of them. In terms of the game being linear, don't let that bother you. It's something that shouldn't be missed. The story and new game play mechanics/ customization makes up for all of it. The only thing that is frustrating is the final levels of the game. Regular battles can become extremely challenging. Sometimes harder than an actual boss fight. Personally I love a hard RPG, but in the end I highly recommend this game. It's fast pace and fun.

Linear but Exciting True, this game is pretty much a linear road as said in many other reviews. What it does do however, is that it showcases excellent graphics throughout the game and presents a rather interesting battle system.
The story is not much to talk about but with so many things to do such as monster hunts both during the story and post-game, there never really is a boring moment in the game.
fantastic game one of most popular game in japan and around the world, it also has been a most succesful brand in the game industry, highly recommand to all buyers
