- aka. Cross Edge
description
The RPG X Edge (read: Cross Edge) brings characters from Mana Khemia 2, Atlier Marie, Spectral Force and Disgaea together in a new fantasy world and have them aid the protagonists Yuuto and Mikoto in their adventures.
Upon being transported to this strange other dimension, Yuuto and Mikoto are attacked by monsters.
After surviving the onslaught, a mysterious girl approaches them, telling them that she has been waiting for their coming for ages.
The strange dimension they have been transported to is a place where souls gathered. However, unlike the most people, some are trapped in the world with an extremely slim chance of escaping.
Once they are completely trapped, their physical counterpart in the real world will cease to exist. To survive elimination, the hero and gang set off to assist the mysterious girl in her mission of freeing the souls.

Could be better
If you are a fan of JRPGs and capcom games in general grab this game.
But don't expect it to challenge the jrpg conventions... this game was made exclusively for fans of the Japanese rpgs... you've been warned.

Quite fun
Pros
- Lots of playable characters
- Fun combo system
- Huge world(s) to run around
- Automatic stat point allocation (this can be viewed as a con by some, but with so many characters, its a chore to me)
- All characters (even those not in use) gain exp and level up.
- Lots of costumes!
Cons
- Low pixel count
- Dungeon mode is quite stressful as you are constantly watching the ball change red (battle encounter)
- Story is a bit shallow (I skip through most of it)
Recommendations:
- You MUST get the DLCs from the store, else the beginning is really quite difficult and unplayable.
