RE5 is AWESOME!
Bought the asian version coz it was released at the same time with the jpn version. This one's in english and I got it just in time for the release date. Played it and didn't sleep till I finished it. This game is sooo good. Feels like RE4 but only better. And it ties up a lot of loose ends from the RE story. Everyone ...[read more...]

description
The biohazard threat has not ended: Just when it seemed that the menace of Resident Evil had been destroyed, along comes a new terror to send shivers down players spines. Chris Redfield, returning Resident Evil hero, has followed the path of the evil literally around the globe. After joining a new organization, Chris heads to Africa where the latest bioterrorism threat is literally transforming the people and animals of the city into mindless, maddened creatures. Chris must take on the challenge of discovering the truth behind this evil plot. In Resident Evil 5, Capcom will teach players to fear the daylight as much as they have feared shadow in previous games.

Promising to revolutionize the series by delivering an unbelievable level of detail, realism and control, Resident Evil 5 is certain to bring new fans to the series. New technology developed specifically for the game, as well as incredible changes to both the gameplay and world of Resident Evil will make this a must-have game for gamers across the globe.

RE5 superb! Asia ver is not bad, with eng ver and japanese ver are same.
it than RE4 better. story mode and merenaries mode are best. HD screen is great. the best of action game! 9.5/10 stars!
A decent title If your reading a bad review on this game its probably from someone who loves the original Resident Evil games, don't pay attention to these types of reviews. Resident Evil headed into a new direction with #4 and continues to strive to do better in #5. Comparing #4 and #5 is hard since they are very similar. I found #4 harder and loved its darker automsphere. #5 is great if you want to play co-op/online. #5 also includes a history of Resident Evil for those of us who have no clue whats going on. Wesker is also a really bad ass final boss. Resident Evil is not scary, its not too difficult on normal mode, and if you know how to you can take advantage of the chapter select. In my oppinion RE 5 is better than Half Life 2 or Halo 3.
Fear, that you never forget, what? What for " Fear"? No Horror, no Atmsphere! I knew, that Biohazard 5 would be bad, since Part 4, but so bad! Enemy's are nerv, Levels are boring! Survive with lots of Ammo, he, Capcom? Fallen Enemy's consign a lots of Ammo, so much, you wan't needed at all. Jun Takeuchi, you are the worst Producer, that this Series ever had. Next Time, you better produced a new Mega Man or something else! Where are you Master Shinji Mikami? Best Producer/Director of the best and first Biohazard Game for all Time!
My favorite PS3 game! I love this game so much! I played everyday, put in 45+ hours already and still haven't got tired of it. The graphics and cinematic are top notch. Excellent gameplay and replay value and absolutely fun coop!
I just love Resident Evil but I hope RE6 will return to its horror roots because this one is too much of an action game and there's absolutely no sense of fear. Still, it's an amazing game that everyone who likes high quality games should play.
The only drawback is, the chainsaw USB is a little hard to connect due to the plug design. Other than that I love the slick black packaging and everything is just great. Thanks Play-Asia!
best RE ever!!! the game is so amazing, maybe the best game i played in years ^^
and the steel book cover is the best thing in the Collector's Edition........just awesome :)
