Not bad, but disappointing As a Ratchet & Clank fan, I bought this game knowing that this game will be great just as other games in the franchise. I have played this game for about 3 hours and finished it completely. The game has some nice puzzles and stuff, but no new weapons (and only 6 weapons are available) and very very shot quest. As it says on the CD, it's a "Ratchet & Clank mini adventure, but it's too short. As for the graphics- it's great, especially in HD. The game is a sequel to 'Tools of Destruction', but there is no answer for the questions need to be answered. If you are a Ratchet & Clank fan, this game could give you some hours of enjoyment, but this not a must have. We can only hope that "A Crack In Time" will be as 'Tools of Destruction" and not as'"Quest for Booty".

No title This is a great game, but it's short - only 3 hours long or so. I wouldn't reccommend it for $30 - it was only $15 on the playstation store.

Mini Ratchet Game, Explosive Adventure Ratchet and Clank games have always provided the fun shoot-em up affairs on the PlayStation consoles. This is no different, except Clank is missing (ie Helicopter Pack and (some) gadgets. Leaving Ratchet to his own devices isnt a bad thing. It was done once before in Deadlocked, a side darkish title based entirely on combat. Again, this game is all about combat, with a platform edged twist. Ratchet can now use his wrench to magneticaly push and pull items, in additon to turning bolts that we have become accustom to. However, the problem lies in the lenght of the title. At a measly 4 hours long, this is by far the shortest title in the series. Why so short someone may ask. Its a disc based verison of a PlayStation Network game, availble for download exclusively on the PS3 hard-drive. But dont get your underwear in a bunch just yet, this game is not just a compressed mini version Tools of Distruction...to be quite honest, the texturing and graphics are slightly superior, and controls are tighter then ever, delivering some of the best gameplay and visuals the PS3 has show yet, of course while it lasts. This is a must have game. Now the other question...should I buy the disc or the PSN version. If your a collector and want something to show your friends that they 'dont have' or 'cant get', the disc is the best way to go. If your a person that has a renting mentality (play once and forget it), then download the $15 version. However, I personaly reccomend, if your going to get the game, spend the few extra bucks and buy the disc, you wont regret it. Some of the best Ratchet action is awaiting on BluRay with "Quest for Booty!"
