aka. Yakuza 3
description
The Yakuza wars are spreading over to the tropical paradise of Okinawa. After leaving his last base in Kamimuro Chou, Kiryuu Kazuma went to Okinawa and opened an orphanage named Asagao with Haruka.
Together with the children they have taken in, the two slowly let go of the violent lives they have led prior to their arrival.
However, the happy days are short lived for the Yakuza are tightly connected with the Japanese government. A shady deal that involves the land which Asagao is built on spurs Kiryuu and Haruka back to their old home town and fights with oppositional Yakuza groups.
Fights and political intrigue comes hand in hand, become the rising dragon and protect the sanctuary you have built.

Must have for fans! This is an excellent game! If you've played the first two then you definitely need to get this. The gameplay is excellent, the graphics beautiful, and the story is great! Even if you haven't played the previous games that's ok cause there's a feature that more or less sums up the story of the first two. If you don't understand Japanese then you can always wait for the English version in a month, but definitely a great game for the PS3. I prefer this over a lot of the other sandbox games that are available.
The Best of the best What can I say about Ryu ga Gotoku 3 (Yakuza 3) that hasn't already been said? This is an exquisite piece of storytelling. Now, before you turn your nose up at the PlayStation Best cover, you should know that this is what we'd refer to as a Game of the Year Edition. Modifications have been made, and the classic minigames (that really sum up life and recreation in modern Japan) are available right off the bat at the main menu. This is the Best version currently on the market. But be warned: this version still doesn't contain any english, so if your Japanese is a little sketchy and you can hold off a while, you'd be better off waiting for the western release on its way. If you're like me and you just can't wait to try it, you can't go wrong.

Great!!! This game is very great, unfortunately the story is too short compare from it's prequel. Can't wait for Ryu ga Gotoku 4.

Shenmue Killer? Definitely my favourite release on the PS3 so far... This games got so much going for it. Some of the best graphics and engaging story/script, I've experienced in a while... oh! and an awesome soundtrack, too!
This is about as close to experiencing Japan as a game can possible get (visually) - considering how good this game is, it's scary to think how good the next instalment is going to be.
A word of warning though, you'll definitely need a strong grasp of the Japanese language to enjoy the story...
Actually, it's the most rewarding gaming experience for me all year!
