Split/Second is an intense action racing game set within a reality television show. Competitors will vie to be the first to the finish line in a made-for-TV city set rigged to blow with the ultimate goal of becoming the season champion. Players in Split/Second don’t just collide with other vehicles to knock them from the track, but can also trigger devastating events that drastically alter the dynamics of the race. Players must use pinpoint timing to obliterate huge structures and towering TV set pieces to tactically alter the track or create entirely new routes.

A little too crazy for me; action drifting and bombs do not go well together! But wait! They do in Split Second, its a tough learning curve but you will get the hang of it as you go along, get it today!

All the different modes are a blast! Survival mode is very very exciting! Air revenge is so nice! The graphics are superb. Environmental graphics is nice as well. A lot of people say this is like Burnout, but it's totally different. Kart racing with explosive twist
The visuals are top notch, and the lighting and environments steal the show. The game's unique power play feature keeps every race fresh, and the thrill of blowing up other cars never gets old. Unfortunately the lack of depth and questionable balancing in the gameplay prevents this from getting a 5 star.

The game is great, but it only has one trick up its sleeve. Taking other cars out or changing the race track using the environmental objects scattered around each location is a nice twist, but the novelty wears off pretty quickly. Still its a fun game that fans of the Burnout series will enjoy.

There is much to understand about Split/Second and this game is not all about racing but rather making decision to topple your competitors by triggering the surrounding race tracks. The fun part would be making sure nobody is ahead of you and topple them in the race. The challenging part is which car that suits you best in the race. The not so fun part when you are ahead and everyone else wants to topple you.
With a long single campaign race and replay value online, Split/Second is a good game to play that sheds away Burnout enthusiast and tries out something new without triggering the common booster. The real challenge is how you handle the car and handle it well against environmental hazards.
