The game it self presents a long gameplay which continues even after the ending as a part of the plot. It is true that the gameplay is not easy but once you master the fighting ...[read more...]

Hardest Demon's Souls is a pretty good Online and Offline RPG.
You can fully customize your character to look like whoever you want and there are a set of different "classes" you can choose from (however, as you enter the later stages, the class becomes redundant). In any case, this game is challenging but at the same time rewarding. There will be many a times when you will want to destory your copy of the game or the TV you play this game on. I beg you not to and to tough it out because this game is quite fun once you get used to it. Just don't expect to be able to One-Hit Kill everything. It won't happen.
No title In a strong year of release for the PlayStation 3, several genera have been considered and "Demon's Souls" appeals to the niche of fans of RPGs ruthless. Considered by the producers as the spiritual successor franchise "King's Field", which led the early life of the first PlayStation to offer a rich world to explore with first-person perspective, the title features extensive scenes to visit, and a thorough mechanical and refined use creative elements online.
Still, all these elements require intense dedication to be properly harnessed, as "Demon's Souls" is also one of the hardest games of recent years, challenging the player all the time and severely punishing the simplest of oversights.
Capricho and frustration
Although it is a production in eastern essence 'Demon's Souls "does not escape the basic premise of other western RPGs: you create a hero from scratch, defining appearance, class and distributing points on abilities and then to venture freely for a set of scenarios. The theme is medieval and creative universe, populated by many legends and mystical figures - many cliches, it is true, but performed competently.
E3 2009 Trailer
The mechanics resembles the "King's Field" or "Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion", to cite a more recent example, focusing on action and demanding the ability to attack effectively in view of the limitations of character skills. The controls offer a variety of options, with attacks of different intensities, avoidance, defense, counter-attacks and the like and all is well exploited by gambling.
Moreover, mastering it is essential to do well and avoid a large share of frustration. "Demon's Souls" features as crucial to the advancement souls, obtained by defeating enemies and that serve both to buy items and equipment to move your warrior. However, when one dies in the dungeons you are required to restart the path in it, losing all souls achieved. There is a way of getting all that is back to where he died and claim back his old soul, which brings all the souls gathered so far. However, if die again before recouping its spirit souls are all lost forever. Because of this, it is not uncommon to have long ways to kick the phases in order to invest the souls achieved, or else lose the job a long time for daring to advance one or two more cinemas in the scenario.
To make matters worse, the dungeons are long and full of pitfalls, as enemies that emerge from unexpected places, holes, huge rocks, heads and more challenging. Then comes into one of the aspects of smart online system of "Demon's Souls." Players may leave the path messages, warning of dangers and pitfalls. When you start the game with the console connected to the Internet, the game communicates with the servers, recovering some of the messages left. If you read something and find it useful, can give a note. In turn, the better note, the more energy the player who left the message. That is, the game encourages to create these reminders to create benefits for those who write and read.
Demons threaten to humanity PS3
Later in the adventure is enabled a more direct interaction in the forms of cooperation and competition. Much of the adventure unfolds with the player as a ghost. However, after beating a boss he gets back to life, which brings the best attributes. Once in life, the hero may receive assistance of up to two other people who are still souls. If you can beat the dungeon in question, the souls revive and win more souls than normal. In contrast, a ghost can also take the role of villain and invade the departure of someone living as a black ghost. In this way, the villain lurks the scene to meet the hero alive. If he wins, wins the right to life again - but it has lost much of their souls transferred to the winner.
Unfortunately there is no option for voice chat, but the explanation fits the context of the adventure - in which living organisms interact with persons of other physical plans - and what could be a deficiency in a certain way just becoming one more element of immersion, coupled with pretty good graphics and animations.
CONSIDERATIONS
"Demon's Souls" is a daring production that comes to enrich the library quite a few exclusive titles to the PlayStation 3. However, its difficulty is so high and ruthless that can frustrate many and to take steps to prevent further or even the online elements before they are enabled.
A Punishing yet Rewarding experience. JapanStudio and From Software gets credit for bringing the most innovative JRPG this generation. Gone are the days of easy grinding and power leveling, each enemy is just as life-threatening as the environment around you.
The game punishes you for not being skilled enough and you have no one but yourself to blame for your failure. Highly recommended especially those who may have interest the WRPG as the game blends both genres seamlessly.
Simply the best game on the PS3 to date Demon's Souls has broken the trend among next-gen titles which tend to be short, easy walks through 6-10 hours of pretty HD graphics and cinematic cut scenes. It is painfully difficult, mysterious in its storytelling, graphically rich, expansive in its environments and hugely rewarding when you conquer the many challenges contained within it.
Features stunning graphics, various strategies and gameplay approaches depending on your character preferences, spooky cut scenes, a unique online mode, a focus on solo play but with co-op available and a weird story. This game is guaranteed to make you nervous during play and keep you feeling that way.
Addictive It's been years since the last time I really got sucked into game to addiction. This one has the honor - and sole reason - to reward me with red eyes during the days due to lack of sleep and my office hours, scouring game guides just to understand how to play this game to the fullest.
